Dr. Cooley's sons Aaron & Brandon grew up in the Bellevue, WA area and in 1997 they joined their father at Cooley Smiles. Dr. Gary Cooley has since retired allowing Aaron Cooley, DDS & Brandon Cooley, DDS to continue the tradition of quality general dentistry.

Dr. Kelly Nelson is a native to the Bellevue area having graduated from Interlake High School and the University of Washington. Dr. Kelly earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California and received awards for her efforts in dental publications and leadership.
With a radiating smile and warm heart, Cooley Smiles has been fortunate to call Judy a team member for many years. Judy's favorite part of being a dental hygienist is the connection she makes with each one of her patients. Many of them have even become her close friends! Judy is a loyal Husky fan who enjoys outdoor activities including hiking, biking, camping, skiing, and wine tasting.

As I have mentioned previously, am a big fan of Cooley Smiles for my dental needs. All of the workers there are professional, friendly, and helpful and really show care that the individual is given the best care possible. When my teeth are being cleaned, the hygienist takes the time to point out areas that need special attention as well as affirming the result of my good habits of brushing and flossing.
Dr. Aaron Cooley (and Dr. Brandon as well) does a great job assessing the condition of my teeth and has encouraged me to continue with habits that will slow down the gum recession that has increased

First time using Cooley Smile due to insurance change. I was surprise how friendly the front desk was and very helpful. Dr Mindy was cool and follow up with me on all the dental work she did . Despite the full schedules, they were very courteous throughout. I believe it was Britney who took care of both of me and my wife and she was top notch. Everything went smooth and without pain. I wish we could get her again next time.
Cooley Smiles is the best dentistry office I have come across. That’s why we travel all the way from Federal Way couple times a year.

I have been to SO many dentists due to cavity-prone teeth/moving- Cooley Smiles is the best dentist group I have seen. First, the admin staff is responsive and on your side. They work with you to address all concerns and make sure you know costs on the front-end. The dental staff are great, cleanings are a breeze because they are so gentle with the teeth and gums. I had been a patient here since around 2013. I've had two crowns done, fillings replaced, etc. I had an appointment last week and they called to cancel and rescheduled for today. I then got a series of text messages this morning first saying again that they needed to reschedule due to sickness then saying to come in. I was not feeling great due to an ongoing health issue, and we are in a global pandemic, so I called to take them up on the rescheduling texts. ASK ABOUT THEIR RETENTION RATE.
I was a patient of theirs for a few years it was nothing but painful cleanings and then regularly telling me I needed expensive surgery (it's funny how my new dentist doesn't see what they claimed to see).
The latest nail in the coffin is the fact that no matter how many times I ask to be taken off their mailing list they won't. Who knows maybe this will finally make that happen.

A week ago, my mother-in-law arrived in Seattle with a tight hour or so lay-over in route to Tennessee for a week-long vacation. Upon her arrival in Seattle she broke a crown on her tooth which needed immediate attention and she feared having to endure the pain. She had little time before catching a flight and was panicked! I called my dentist Cooley Smiles and explained the situation and immediately the staff accommodated her into their already short-Friday-busy-schedule and quickly repaired the tooth. I felt very welcomed and everyone went above & beyond in accommodating me in a spur of the moment dental cleaning. Dr Cooley examined my teeth & took the time to explain everything while setting up a dental plan that was financially doable! Vanessa, my hygienist was funny & just awesome explaining everything of my cleaning. Julie helped me through all the paperwork! I felt very comfortable & would recommend Cooley Smiles.

I have been a patient of Cooley Dental for quite a few years, however, my most recent visit compelled me to write a review as they went above and beyond. I just happened to chip my bottom front tooth (eating a chocolate coffee bean!) the day of my dental cleaning. When I came in for the cleaning they did their usual stellar job with the cleaning and then Dr. Aaron made the time to fix my chipped tooth then & there rather than making me schedule a follow up appointment. I have never had anything but a great experience here - highly recommend!

You are a miserable liar. Because of your very pushy and aggressive treatment plan I went to see a third dentist to make sure I wasn't insane after you tried to contact me. I showed both dentists the x-rays taken at your office along with your treatment plan. Both dentists confirmed my suspicions. Your treatment plan was overly aggressive and unnecessary. They each also passed onto me their concerns over your billing practices and how they had never seen a dentist try to pass off the bill you tried to push on me.

Dr. Cooley and his staff are so sweet and so knowledgeable. The office is very clean and unlike any other dentist I have ever been to! I enjoyed a hand massage during my treatment and they really took the time to thoroughly clean my teeth and explain to me what was going on. I am so impressed with the level of customer care and I will definitely be referring Cooley Smiles to my family and friends!

It was my first time going to Cooley Smiles. The facility was very nice and spacious. They offered me coffee because I was early for the appointment. Julie was my dental hygienist. She was very knowledgeable and funny. I enjoyed Dr. Cooley's humor. It made the tense dental office environment into a nice and a peaceful place. :)
