Dr. Palak Jain received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University and earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in India. Following her graduation from NYU, Dr. Jain pursued Advanced General Residency Program for Dentists at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, NY. She practiced dentistry for three years in India and has been practicing in NY and PA for over the last eight years.
During your first visit, our team will get to know you by asking some questions about your medical and oral health history. Please bring a list of any medications you may be taking and their dosages, including all vitamins and supplements. Next, we will perform a comprehensive oral exam that may include x-rays, periodontal probing, charting of your existing restorations, and a non-invasive oral cancer screening.
We accept most traditional insurance plans, contact our office to verify acceptance of your plan. Chestnut Hill Smiles does not participate in Health Management Organizations; however, we will be happy to file your insurance claims for you. We accept checks, cash or credit cards. We also offer a flexible payment plan.

I am a new patient. First visit was for a cleaning. The front desk receptionist was absolutely lovely and explained my insurance and my financial responsibility. My dental hygienist was Lauren. She was very professional, kind and explained everything she was doing and did an amazing job. I needed a second visit for cavities. Dr. Jain was kind, efficient and made sure I was comfortable and in no pain. Dr. Jain, I know that I never need to stress when I am in your competent care. I am very thankful I found Chestnut Hill Smiles.

Having not been to a dentist in far too long, I was admittedly nervous for my first trip back—but the team at Chestnut Hill Smiles was fantastic and made my visit as painless and pleasant as possible. My dental hygienist Cheryl was funny, kind, and patient, and Dr. Morgan was just as lovely! For as long as I live in the Philly area, I will be returning to this practice.

The entire staff were great to be around. From walking in the front door and being greeted, to getting an X-ray. They were clear and concise and explained everything that was happening. The dentist was very good to the point where I had zero pain or discomfort getting a broken tooth fixed. Fast and efficient but still very friendly. I will definitely be returning for anything I need. Highly recommended!

Going to the dentist isn't my favorite activity and I didn't get my regular cleanings during covid (like many folks). Chestnut Hill Smiles made the process really easy to get back into regular dental care. They keep you updated on every part of the procedure and take extra care if you're a little anxious about being at the dentist. Very kind, compassionate, clean, and thorough office.

Super happy with this office. My doctor sent me a text to update if the office was running late, which was very convenient. I have absolute confidence in my dental care, and my doctor explained everything in a way I could understand, and clearly loved her job. No question this is the office I will stay with while in chestnut hill area

Do not let the small footprint of this office fool you: CH Smiles is probably the best dentist experience I remember having! Cheryl was my hygienist and she was kind, informative (I learned a lot!), and clearly has tons of experience. I then saw Dr. Morgan who was also very friendly and educated me on what she was looking at and concerned about. I was also very impressed with their equipment which seems to be the latest and greatest. I will definitely be back and would recommend them to anyone!

Dr. Jain and her staff have been great to work with and provide excellent care. Everyone in the office is kind and friendly, and they do whatever they can to make sure I'm comfortable, explain what's going on, and educate me on taking better care of my teeth. My dental health has greatly improved since seeing Dr. Jain.

Moving to a place almost 700 miles away has its own stresses, but when a tooth cracks two days before you leave, and your dentist does a temporary fix, then sends you on your way to find a new dentist in Philadelphia, it's even more stressful. Luckily for me, I found Dr Jain at Chestnut Hill Smiles within a few days of the move. From the moment I first called the office, everyone was helpful, pleasant, and professional. Renee helped me get established in the practice, my records transferred, and feel right at home in our new home. Much of the paperwork was able to be handled online, which was great
