Kaya Vineyard and Winery is a rebirth of Blackstock Vineyards; located in Dahlonega, Georgia. Blackstock was one of the first and largest vineyards in the Dahlonega area. The unfortunate closing of Blackstock Vineyards in late 2012 paved the way for a complete renovation and re-vitalization of the property.
Spend an unforgettable time in one our newly established Craftsman style cottages right in the best location in all of Georgia. Kaya is wonderful. It was the venue of my wedding, and it has fantastic scenery, a great environment, and a wonderful staff. Oh yeah, and the wine is really, really, really good!

Services
Kaya's Winery and Tasting Room are built atop a ridge that is 1600 feet above elevation and offers the most exquisite panoramic mountain view in North Georgia. The Tasting Room features twelve-foot windows, Edison light bulbs, and reclaimed wood, making the combination of Kaya and the Appalachian Mountains a retreat.
All Kaya wines are made exclusively from estate grown grapes produced from the winery's property. Our team strongly believes that wine is meant to be made in the vineyard, so our collection represents specific field selections grown to fulfill their own niche and style.
While the cellar practices are meticulous and detail-oriented, the emphasis is on gentle handling and minimal intervention, with the real differences derived from how the wine grapes are cultivated in the field. It is no coincidence that a visit to the winery spectacularly showcases the exceptional terrain and beauty of its mountain vineyards, both in its rolling vistas and in the way the vines intimately envelope the winery.

Our Wine tasting is so much fun, come and visit us often with friends and family to experience a relaxing day in the mountains tasting. My partner and I had a beautiful experience. We purchased the picnic basket deal. The food was mediocre to say the least, but the wine was delicious. The scenery is to die for, and I plan to go back just for it. On a clear day, you can see the Blue Ridge Mountains. We also enjoyed just walking through the vineyard and taking pictures.

It is a good place with a lovely view. However, they need to improve their customer service, and they need more restrooms, cause it's annoying spending 20+ minutes on a line to use the bathroom.
The experience would have been more excellent if they had someone to educate the newbie in the wine world.

This Vineyard and winery has a beautiful location in the north Georgia mountains. IMO, their wines are very average yet extremely overpriced (not unusual for many of the wineries in North Georgia or elsewhere).
We used our Atlanta passbook to get a buy one get one free lunch here today. Lunch selections amounted to 5 sandwich options with a bag of chips for the side.
We had the turkey club and the brisket sandwich. The turkey club was fine, just a run-of-the-mill cold sandwich. The brisket sandwich was served hot and had better flavor, but there was not a lot of meat on the sandwich. For $16

Kaya Vineyards and Winery has spectacular views and very good wine. We arrived on a Friday afternoon around 3:30 and it was pretty crowded but we were able to find two seats overlooking the vineyards with the mountains in the background. Because of the crowd, we did have to wait in line awhile to order our tasting.

Kaya was one of the first vineyards I visited in Georgia and it did not disappoint! Before visiting we registered for both the Bordeaux mixing class and the truck ride through the vineyard. When we arrived it was around 1pm just in time for our class, we were greeted by our teacher and lead outside for a brief history of the vineyards. We were then lead downstairs to area that held the wine barrels and an area that seemed to serve multiple purposes including the managers office. We were surprised to see that they had set up a table downstairs for our class. Our teacher was very knowledgeable and

We arrived midday on a Saturday. There was a pretty large crowd there, including a tour group that arrived via charter bus. That being said, the parking lot was crowded and we were very fortunate to find a close space.
You're greeted by a beautiful view as soon as you step up onto the patio. Additionally, on this day, a band was playing and that added to the great atmosphere.
We headed to the bar and were greeted by friendly staff. Every staff member we ran into was great. We had a tasting and ordered a turkey sandwich. The sandwich was delicious, much better than initially expected.

Decided to do the Dahlonega wine trail on our way down to Atlanta and this was our 1st winery. Loved it!! Beautiful views. Nice outdoors deck overlooking the vineyard and, also a separate picnic area.
Staff was very friendly. We wanted to do a bottle instead of the tasting and the young fellow at the bar let us try the 2 red wines we were considering. Very nice of him. Got us the pimento cheese dip and to the outdoors veranda we went!
Truly enjoyed our time here. Plus the wine was delicious! Would definitely come back if in this area again.

We had a wonderful experience here. The staff was welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed the wine tasting and purchased three bottles for our group. We signed up for the vineyard tour which was truly an adventure! You can bring wine on the tour, be sure to ask for plastic cups…like I said it was an adventure! The husband and wife team running the tour were enjoyable. The tour truck was humongous and we learned that it was used in real life search and rescue situations. The truck took us around the vineyard and up a small mountain overlooking the grounds. The view was beautiful. Definitely worth the

Need a covid friendly social distanced family gathering spot with lots of wine. This is the perfect place for family with dogs, kids, adults and space. Tasting for 5 wines is $25 and they have a punch card to pick up your new wine. We had a family of 8 so we opted for the buy 3 bottles and get one free option which was perfect for what we needed. My daughter loved the openess of the vineyard and ran her little heart out while we ate and drank with all our cousin. Highly recommend this place. There is a full restaurant you can also order and eat inside their tent or patio space.

Kaya vineyards and winery will ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart! As this is the place my boyfriend (now fiancé) proposed.
The day here was something out of a dream! Staff were so kind (even before the question was popped) and you can have more than just wine. By that I mean is that my fiancé was drinking the local beer, a sour they had as an option.
There was so many places for picture opportunities and as you can see down below! The perfect place to propose.
Everyone there follows COVID guidelines! I will be back once again to try more of the wine. Although we did end up buying

On a day with good weather, there aren't many better places to be (especially during COVID). Wines are good for GA vineyard standards, but the view and amount of space is amazing - probably the best of the handful of Dahlonega vineyards we've been to.
They have a tent set up outside, or chairs / picnic tables throughout their expansive field - you can easily be very socially distanced. You can pack a picnic and set it up anywhere in the vineyard, with a nice view of mountains all around. We stopped on the way back from a hike at Blood Mountain and enjoyed the live music with our dog

What a beautiful winery with gorgeous views and ample seating!! The gift shop is super cute and seasonal as well. My only complaint is that the wine was being served in plastic cups...not very classy or what you expect when paying $13/glass. We also ordered food (the chicken salad croissant and panini) and they were just ok.

Beautiful escape for some confinement approved fun! I went there to celebrate a friend's birthday and we book a private tour. We had so much fun! Our tour guide/wine connoisseur/personal photographer was Luc and he was very hospitable and knowledgeable. He answered all our novice questions without making us feel embarrassed. We sampled about 6 different wines and ended up each taking the port home. We were also allowed to bring a picnic and enjoy the rest of the property. I will definitely recommend Kaya Vineyard and Luc to anyone needing some relaxing time!

Located about an 1 1/2 hours outside of Atlanta, Kaya is a great day getaway in the N. GA Mountains. Great scenery & ample places to sit or you are welcome to bring a blanket and venture out into the vines. Great way to social distance during these times. You can really have a great amount of space to yourself. Personally, I love the call-in to table service for their wine & food options. Food is limited, but good.
Wine is OK - set your expectations for North GA wine at a bit of higher price point (not Napa but really you are here for the experience!). But I will say that their dry Rose
