Jo-Anna graduated from Florida State University at the age of 20 with two bachelor degrees, one in Multinational Business and another in Finance. Jo-Anna has been recognized by SuperLawyers the past six years for her legal work, earning the distinction of "Rising Star" which is given to no more than 2.5% of attorneys in each state.
Gurjit Pandher has over 20 years of legal experience, litigating over 340 jury trials throughout his legal career. Gurjit has various experiences in the legal field that gives him a unique and empathetic perspective, including previous work as a prosecutor and a Pro Tempore Judge. His background working in both the criminal and civil fields gives him a deep understanding of litigation and helps him effectively advocate for clients.
Kevin has experience working a number of high-profile criminal cases, defending individuals from crimes ranging from Drug Conspiracy to Murder. Kevin served as a Public Defender for a decade at the San Joaquin County Public Defender's Office. He was also a Public Defender at Monterey County's Public Defender's Office, where he served as an Immigration Specialist.
Breanne was born and raised in the Bay Area, leaving only to attend law school in New York and clerk with the Los Angeles County Public Defender's Office. She has wanted to become an attorney since she was a child, ever since she drew herself as a judge on the cover of Time Magazine for a class project.

Don’t go anywhere else! We retained Nieves Law Firm for a challenging DV case. However, our case ended up turning more into a custody/visitation case, so unfortunately we ended up having to retain counsel elsewhere. DON’T misunderstand, these people are phenomenal and it was an extremely difficult decision to make, but we needed Family Law representation as well. Had it not been for that aspect, we would still be there! Every person we interacted with were/are top notch rock stars, from Amazing Nadia to Awesome Grace Goodman and of course Jo-Anna!!!

Nadia at the Nieves Law Firm was very helpful and compassionate. I was considering switching to them from another firm, but I was assigned to a different lawyer at the original firm, and decided to stick with them. Nadia checked on me a couple times just to make sure I was doing okay. She let me know if I ever need help again contact them because they want to help me and my son in any way they can. I really appreciated that, and actually I do need help again, so they were the first firm I contacted!
