This is going to be a long review, if you’re actually considering moving here I would take the time to read this.
This place definitely does not deserve even 1 star. Maintenance comes quickly but does a… horrible job of actually resolving your issues because he’s too busy talking and flirting with any female tenants who live in the apartment to actually do a good job of fixing whatever it is you called for. When I first moved in I had a bee nest in the wall of my apartment under my kitchen window, it took almost a whole MONTH for me to not have live bees coming my apartment because

When I asked to see the unit they showed me the "model unit" which included central air and new stainless steal appliances. The actual units have wall A/C units and outdated appliances from the stone age.
Be prepared to listen to constant dog barking throughout the night.
Some buildings have two floors so you might be one of the unfortunate people to get a unit with a paper thin ceiling underneath someone. The walls are thin enough to hear your neighbors conversations.
Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time here.

I think it's a terrible idea to live in this place. I am newcomer to the state of Michigan and right from the start I had an unpleasant experience in this condominium I was very sad to be notified because of a Christmas decoration that brings landscaping to a place as dark and sad as this condo. I was notified because of a Christmas decoration where all the residents come to praise me for the Christmas decoration and lighting. so many other things for them to worry about but they are keeping an eye on unimportant things. I could talk more and I could talk about some other problems that I faced

I have lived at Springbrook Flats for 5 years. Amber, Jordan and Mylo are an amazing team! I have been in the property management industry for over 20 years and they run this property like pros! They are also very communicative and polite. If I plan to vacate it would only because I leave Grand Rapids or to buy a house. I would never rent anywhere else and recommend Springbrook Flats highly.

I lived here for 3 years with my husband and 2 dogs.
Pros: It is central to the city and it's really quite and feels a little secluded in the back apartments. The maintenance man is the bomb! He is always kind, helpful, and all around good dude. They allow any size dogs. Some neighbors are cool and mostly dog people live here.
Cons: The office staff was rude and disrespectful after accusing me of spitting in a holiday tin of cookies I baked for them. A ceiling fan fell from the roof on my brothers head and they just put new screws on it and wouldn't let us contact corporate. Rent increased $50

I had a six month lease at Springbrook Flats and had a great experience there. From the start, Jordan was very helpful. I was over two hours away so she emailed me photos of the open unit and shared a site that showcased crime data because I was not from the area. They also allow large-breed dogs, which was important to me because I have a German Shepherd.
The one bedroom was small, but efficient. Mine had new carpet and a really nice washer and dryer. The leasing office and maintenance were quick to respond when I needed them. The complex was safe and quiet. The location was great because it

I lived here for multiple years. I've seen a lot of people come and go. There's some things to like about this place and things that are definitely a pain.
Pros: Milo, the maintenance man, is awesome. He's super friendly and once drove a far distance late at night to fix the furnace when it went out. There's a good amount of space to walk your dogs, although there is no fenced in area so they must be leashed at all times. The appliances are pretty nice.
Cons: When I first moved in, within 2 days my cat and dog were COVERED in fleas. You'd think they would have used their exterminator before letting

The maintenance man is really friendly and very helpful. Office staff are a flexible and understanding team of people. Best part about this place are the nice neighbors and their friendly pets! I would have given this a 5-star rating if they were more accommodating to pets especially for the price we pay and since we have a fairly large dog… population here. Perhaps a fenced in off-leash area for dogs to run free in. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet and safe community that's close to everything. The convenience of living across the street from the mall

As far as apartments go you can't go wrong with Springbrook Flats. Milo is a great on site maintenance guy who will fix you right up, and the management is open to suggestions and willing to work with you. The apartments are nice and newly renovated, the location is quiet while still being extremely close to all the stores you could ever need to visit. What more can you ask for? Definitely recommend these apartments.
