Turns out, an on-line authorization from primary care physician was needed to see this doctor.
Dr. Khanani’s team failed, FAILED, to notify my sister prior to her appt. At the front desk, they told us they had called, which is a BIG LIE. The only phone call my sister got was automated to confirm the appt.
The old bitter woman with grey hair came at us sooo RUDELY and aggressively that after a few words were exchanged, my sister thanked them and we left. But, the woman raised her voice from the beginning to say that it needed to be done on line. Had she known, my sister would’ve taken care

135 appt time. Finally got taken back at 445. It's a freaking joke. What's the point of an appt time? Being told we're next and watching 4 people get called back ahead of us. There's one receptionist who seemed to genuinely care. The others act like its a bother anyone is here. One nurse was amazing and checked on my grandma because she was crying out of frustration. She was actually the one to make sure my grandma was next. Other than those 2 this place is overrun with horrible attitudes.

My grandmother has been coming to this office for at least 10 years, never had a bad experience. I've been coming with her, because she's elderly, for the last 3 years. It's usually quick, in and out, with friendly and competent staff and doctors.
I'm typing this from an exam room we're finally sitting in, waiting for dilation. It is exactly 2 hours past her 9:30 appointment time. After checking in, we waited in main lobby, which is extremely crowded, no social distancing, for at least 30 minutes. Then an assistant called her back, only for screening tests and told me she'd be right back out.

Front desk was ok. I could do with out the attitude. A very kind young lady who helped me get some test done, I believe she told me her name was Angie, was the sweetest. The room was very small, but I felt more bad for her since it was so hot in that room, and the little fan off in the corner barely helped, especially with the door closed. She made my whole appointment worthwhile. Aside from that, this has to be the worse place ever. My eyes were being dilated and I was put into a dark room while I waited and I have never been somewhere where the doctor disrespects their staff in front of you,

If I could give zero stars I would! Dr. Hong sent my 5 year old over to the Ryland office for additional testing. The staff was RUDE just coming in the door!!! The girl at check in asked if we had an appointment and I said yes. She asked with what doctor, and I told her that I didn’t know. She promptly stated, with attitude, that we were probably in the wrong place. I told her, I don’t think so, because Dr. Hong sent us over here. She then asked for my child’s date of birth and found the appointment. She then rudely again, told us to take a seat.
We sat. The next staff called us back and

The entire process from the making the appointment to checking out was TERRIBLE. I had an ophthalmologist who recently retired and her office recommended this place and said they would have access to our charts, so it seemed like a logical choice. I looked up reviews of doctors and made an appointment with Dr. Khanani months in advance. I was told the appointment would take 2-3 hours, which I understood due to the dilation process. 3 days before the appointment I was called and told the doc could not make that time, so we changed the time of the appointment to suit his schedule. That process took

Not impressed with this office. Three appointments I have had here and every appointment has taken at least two hours, with at most 10-15 minutes actual time with the doctor. I actually have to schedule at least a half day off of work every time I come here just because I expect it to take hours for my appointment. I developed a blind spot in my vision and the doctor tells me my eyes look good and sends me on my way. It makes it seem they have no idea what they are doing. I am actively looking for a new specialist that will help me find the cause of my eye issues.

Poor patient doctor experience.
I felt very rushed in and rushed out. I had a hard time explaining my problem without being interrupted. Dr. Gamet made assumptions about what I was experiencing without asking clarifying questions. The interaction was curt. He did give some limited advice before dismissing me, but he did not take time to understand or help me understand what had caused my vision changes. I did not have even a moment to fully explain the issues I had been having the weeks and months prior.

We love Dr. Hong. She has been great working with my little dude. He was first diagnosed with an eye condition at 2 years old and two years later of eye patching and glasses, his condition has improved. The staff has always been wonderful and super helpful. Just recently I noticed my son struggling with his glasses as night time and starting to be resistant to the patching, but his next appointment wasn’t for another 2.5 months. I called and they were able to work their magic to get him in sooner. I know that is not always doable, but I am over the moon grateful they were able to check his eyes
