Myopia prevention is a relatively new venture in optometry to try to reduce the rate of change or development of high prescriptions in children.

Very busy practice for a reason. They're amazing! Very professional, pleasant, and efficient. I was able to move my appointment up with the waitlist, got right in, and moved along with paperwork and exam. All options explained thoroughly with pros and cons. I felt like a valued customer throughout my experience.
Until recently, there was no help in solving the myopia problem, other than giving stronger glasses. Fortunately, the latest research is indicating that myopia in children and adolescents can be slowed significantly with specialty treatments. Some of the institutions spearheading these myopia management studies are the Ohio State University and the University of California, Berkeley.
Battle Born Eye Care is pleased to be the first practice in Northern Nevada to offer Neurolens technology to our patients. I have never received such personalized service from an eye care professional. I did not feel like the doctor was rushing through the exam....or that the staff just wanted to sell me a pair of glasses and get me out of there! Everyone is genuinely friendly and they really do their job well. I bought glasses and am trying out some contacts....and there again...no rushing. They seem to really want to make sure you have what works for you. I am very glad to have found Battle Born Eye Care!

The office is clean and pleasant with a friendly staff. The equipment is very up-to-date. The eye exam seems thorough. Dr. Nannini has suggested changes to my prescription twice in the last couple years that have worked out well. Charges for service seem fair. I feel comfortable recommending Battle Born Eye Care to anyone looking for an optometrist.
