Let me start of by saying that I totally understand that we are coming off a pandemic. That we are in the middle of a global supply chain issue and labor shortage. That being said this was a pretty bad experience. When you pay over $750 a night there are certain things you expect. Let start off with our check in. We arrived at 2:45, check in is at 4:00. The front desk said that we were gonna be placed on an expedited list. We walked back around 4:00 and was told the room was not ready and unfortunately it would be a bit. With no definitive time I asked to speak to the manager to see if the wait

Couldn't have been better! After staying at an awful supposedly "upscale" resort I checked into Hotel LBI and they could not have done a better job. The desk staff was courteous and personable, had a smile and were extremely helpful. The room was gorgeous. It happened to be my grandson's Birthday and our Anniversary and we received a handwritten note from the manager and staff congratulating us and a little welcome package of snacks, water etc. The valet was 100% super sharp and the shuttle van drivers awesome. The rooftop area was pretty, even in a bit of rain.

We had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. The rooms were very clean, staff was courteous and food was good. Valet parking was convenient and there were no issues with the lot being filled to capacity. The roof top bar has great views but I agree that it would be even better with some food options. We didn't utilize the pool as it was pretty crowded. But overall great experience!!

Attractive hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy parking. Pretty, spacious rooms. Complementary beach chairs and drop off at the beach, as well as bikes if you want to pedal there yourself. Great rooftop bar area. Lots of open space all around. Only downsides were that the pool is small and it has an awkward location between two busy roads.

Another great stay here. It's like being at a high end resort. Rooms are so big and beautiful. Bed is so comfortable everything they do is right. Valet service free. Room turn over done while your out. Nothing cheaply made they don't cut corners. Believe me it's not cheap at all for anything here. Your paying top dollar but I find it worth it for being pampered couple times a year

Had reservation for rooftop at 6:45 pm at Hotel LBI and arrived on time. At the Rooftop, no one greeted us and when we asked one of the hostesses they just said to have a seat and someone will come over for drinks. After sitting 30+ minutes, our party of 4 got up and one last time tried to get a hostess without success. At that point we just left. The building is beautiful but the entire service personal on the rooftop should be fired. They are all too busy with their cell phones. Enough, not going back!

The rooftop is a great spot for drinks! But how is it possible that they aren't offering any food at all up there? Really? And our server said it's due to the shortage of staff. OK let's get creative here guys...put a few fried items on the menu that can be prepared one floor below from frozen to plate in 10 mins, a bowl of nuts, chex mix, pretzels, or whatever, and add some canned olives to the list and boom!! You've got a bar menu, and your revenues for the night have just gone up by $20 per table!! :-)

Had a beautiful birthday event for my husband. Donna (event planner), was helpful and informative. We traded lot of phone calls and she helped me every step of the way. Food package choices were great. A little pricey but worth every penny you spend!! Beef was nicely flavored and lobster was fresh. The New England clam chowder was delish (sprinkled sea salt, made me return twice)!!! Cheese cake key lime in the mason jars as our chosen dessert was my favorite. Drinks were constantly flowing, staff was just amazing and attentive (thank you Petra). So happy that I was able to share this very special

I was just here for a wedding reception the other day and everything was perfect. The hotel is very nice everything looks bran new. The food was amazing! The host / wedding coordinator "Petra" was great! All the staff had an excellent presence and were very professional especially with the changes due to Covid-19. Definitely made my newly married friends very happy! Highly recommend this place!

Food was delicious. Abby was an absolutely amazing server. She was constantly checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed, knew the menu very well, and chimed in with good jokes throughout the night. Try their Mac and cheese, short rib & lovely lady drink.

It looks beautiful but don't stay here is you want a luxury experience as it's a dressed up beach motel full of loud guests packed into rooms partying until the weeeee hours. I stayed 2 nights which cost over $1,200.00 for just the room. Thin walls and floors and no management or security involvement keeping things under control. I would expect this at lesser quality beach hotel but not here. Couldn't wait to get home to get sleep.
My advice to management. Don't hire seasonal summer help but rather hospitality professionals

A quick anniversary getaway for one night we decided to give the Hotel LBI a try and we were very happy with our choice. New, lovely and everything very spacious including our room we were soon talking about a return visit down the road in a month or two. What's not to like about happy hour on a Friday night and the place was a buzz with mostly locals roaming in to check out their new gateway hotel to their barrier island.
Two bars accommodate the crowded happy hour and both very busy indeed serving drinks and bar food by their friendly staff. Prices were very friendly as well. Although

This review is strictly for the rooftop bar at Hotel LBI. We popped over for a quick drink before dinner. The setup is spectacular with views of the bay and the island. Sunset up here must be gorgeous.
We were seated promptly at a seating area with a small table and the waitress returned shortly to grab our drink order. I'm guessing there's no food served here, probably because of the nightmare from the seagulls that would ensue if there was food here.
When it came time to pay, our waitress was hard to find but we finally got the bill and left.
