Visited this restaurant during my stay at The Claridge. The eggs Benedict was slightly bland but nothing a little added salt couldn't fix. I understand that they are cooking for everyone with everyone's health in mind. The next time I had breakfast here, I had pancakes with toast and over medium eggs as requested. It was delicious. No complaints here and food was reasonably priced in my opinion. Also, I didn't wait long to be seated but then again I came here during the off season (November).

The staff here is very friendly. But the food was awful and expensive. My chicken Marsala was okay, but the Branzino smelled so bad we had to send it back. The Pappardelle Nonna was extremely salty, the spinach ravioli was served in a heavy red sauce which made no sense, and the Bolognese tasted like it was leftover from last week and reheated. We’ll never go back.

Stayed here for a night and I can honestly say I would come again. It has a sort of oldies feel to it which was pretty nice. Our room was in the 21st floor and it was clean. Although there was a malfunction with the ac control box, we ended up turning it off and it was fine. For the price I found on booking, it was definitely worth it.

The staff makes this hotel. "T" was outstanding! She made sure we did not need a thing. The secret to the Claridge is if you don't have it ask for it! T brought us blankets.a coffee pot and even got us a new fridge because ours was sounding like an airplane getting ready to take off.We missed breakfast because of a key not working so the waitress who at first said they were only serving lunch went in the back and spoke to the chef. She came back within minutes and said that they would make us breakfast to order. We felt like royalty. I wish I could remember names but it was the 6th

Rooms were nice and clean, the advantages of staying here are the amenities (arcade, pool, rooftop restaurant, proximity to boardwalk and beach) The elevators take forever we would wait 10 minutes just for it to get here and be full and wait another 10. The line for check in is very very long so get here 15 minutes before your check in time to be the first in line. The ice machine on our floor was broken which was very inconvenient and sink had a hard time draining, we had someone come look at it and it didn't get fixed. The VĂĽe opens at 11 but only for drinks and not food which was super

My wife and I decided to try this place out for her birthday, based on the beautiful setting and the dining area looked amazing. Unfortunately, I see exactly what the negative reviews mean. The food menu is very confusing and there’s not a lot to choose from. The “description” underneath of each item is terrible. We took a little longer to order, due to trying our first time being here and the menu choice.
We over heard our waiting complaining about people (customers) always taking forever to order food and even made a statement that sometimes people leave due to the menu. She made other

I cannot believe we just spent money on this meal. Avoid! I’m trying to save you the trouble! Staying at the Claridge so mom and I figured we would check out this place. Don’t make this mistake - my food tasted like someone dumped cold gravy on dollar store pasta. Mom’s lobster was so chewy she almost lost a tooth. Just saving you the trouble - avoid! This was a bad first night of our vacation:( But hey - that’s life! NOT cheap for food worst than Applebee’s. Stinks.

We really wanted to love this old beauty hotel but they have somethings they need to focus on. Front desk, cleanliness, and staff attitudes.

We asked for three rooms together and we were given rooms in same
Floor but not all together. Could have since we were there before check in and there was empty rooms between us. Then the room next to our sister had a party. We asked for her room to be moved two down -in between us. It was an Empty room and check out time so no one in yet. Front desk refused and fought with us. Family member has anxiety and was visibly upset. We were calm and explained that

Please do yourself a favor and do not eat there.

Receptionist at counter was rude, and discourteous. She would not let my wife check us in while I parked the car a block away at their self parking facility. Even though my wife was listed on the booking, and she had my Visa card, as well as her ID, The receptionist insisted that I had to be the one to check in. When my wife asked why she could not check us in the receptionist replied, "It's the policy Babe"!

The hotel is dated, the carpets have seen better days and are in need of cleaning/replacing. The whole atmosphere in and around the hotel is one of uneasiness; because of

New staff.. we checked into the Claridge on 8/ll...a gentleman was training and was receiving instructions from "Marquita" who was knowledgeable. We had a $100.00 holding fee deducted from our checking account. We didnt like our room as it was facing a manufacturing site of some sort. We asked for another room..same price, different floor. Another $100.00 was "held" from our checking account. Husband asked the front desk and was told by the trainee...""oh both $100.00 holdings would "fall off" and we would not be charged. It is now 8/22 and only one "

The hotel that saved our staycation! We wanted to stay local for our summer vacation this year. Take a few days away from the 4 walls of our apartment in NYC and unwind. We decided Atlantic City and the Claridge Hotel the obvious choice... close and accessible by bus/rail for we non-drivers. When we arrived, "holy smokes" Atlantic City is a dump, homeless and drug addicts running rampant. To make the best of our time there, we stayed with the confines of the hotel. Our room was very clean, bathroom spotless... very important. Food was delicious and the indoor arcade crazy fun with my

DO NOT STAY HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!

I travel for business a lot, 100+ nights in a hotel per year a lot. I hold Marriott Titanium Elite Status, Hilton Diamond, Hyatt Globalist, and Radisson Gold. I bring this up not to brag but to indicate that I'm well aware of some of the challenges facing the hospitality industry right now during the pandemic. This review highlights major failures at every level of the hotel, from the top to the bottom. These failures are not due to the pandemic.

This hotel has some history and former elegance, emphasis placed on FORMER elegance. It's very

The staff is not helpful and rude. The room is not as advertised, but the number one reason I will not stay here again is the elevators. Don't leave anything valuable in your room. When we came back the TV was on and someone put a paper in the peep hole. The towels were dirty

To begin with, the 15-minute wait for the ancient elevators were apparently a foreshadowing of the wait for our meal. Although the hostess greeted us warmly and thanked us in advance for our patience given their understaffing, we were still unprepared for the length of time it would take to get our entrees. The server, bus boy, and manager were all
apologetic, but we were never once offered a complimentary cocktail or appetizer throughout our more than one hour wait.
While we sat waiting for our meal, we took the opportunity to read up on the Claridge Hotel and its former celebrity history. One

My husband and I stayed here this past weekend and we were quite pleased. I don' t really know why people are calling this place a dump and trash talking about it because I had nothing but a great experience. Yes there was a little line for check-in and the elevator took longer at certain times of the day, but we really didn't have much of a problem with it. When we walk in it had a very historic feel, which we loved...Our room was nice and clean and the oceanview was beautiful. If you are a gambler there is a tunnel to Bally's only steps away on the 2nd floor...The VUĂ‹ is a

Where to begin. We were extremely excited to try this place given it's history.
But once we got here, we found a place that was visibly filthy (there was a brown stain covering most of the cushion of one of our chairs), a dismissive staff, and food that is among the worst we've had in a very long time.
After waiting half an hour or more for the elevator, we got to the restaurant to then have to wait 20 minutes to be seated. It was odd to have to wait so long to be seated in a restaurant that was almost completely empty...
Then came the food. We wanted to order eggs Benedict, but were told that

We decided to stay in our hotel room and order room service from the twenties bistro. We ordered ribeye steak, spaghetti and meatballs, and canolis. The spaghetti was the best I've ever had in my life. The ribeye steak was amazing! And the canolis and the sauce were outta this world! Definitely worth the money!

Maybe we got lucky but this hotel was fine & exactly what I expected for the price.
Check in / check out was wonderful. Juan helped us both times. He was very friendly & informative.
The hotel is centrally located - right off the center of the boardwalk & beach, next to Bally's beach bar. There's chair /umbrella rentals right there so u don't have to lug your own. It's pretty literally in the middle of the boards. You can head out left or right depending on which casinos / attractions you want to visit.
The pool was so nice. All ages until 7:45. Then adults only

Don't stay here yAll! I called myself doing a quick baecation/staycation to celebrate my
Husbands bday and the hotel was terrible. First it looks nothing like the pictures online. The rooms do but the hotel itself does not. I pulled up and was extremely disappointed with the way it just looked on the outside. The doors to the hotel were dirt and has finger prints all over. Check in wa pretty smooth but they had one person doing the valet and acting as the bellhop.

There were a bunch of kids! Note that for your stay. You may enjoy this place if you have kids but people were complaint about

I'm sorry to say I probably wouldn't go back... but for one night, it did have a cute charm to it with some awesome history... ... but it was too small for me for more than one day. Our room was also on the pool floor, it smelt so bad we were getting lightheaded. Thankfully they allowed us to move out room which helped dramatically. The second room had someone's close and empty water bottles in it.. so that was weird. But all in all AC is going down hill and it's so sad. I hope it all survives.

So after specifically booking a non smoking hotel I got a room where the entire hallway smelled like WEED. Even smelled it in my room and front desk didn't even answer.
The hotel itself costs $300 a night. Plus you have to pay for parking. Self parking is $17 a night, $25 a night if you opt for valet. There is no complimentary breakfast. Kids cannot use the pool in the evenings.
For a room that is small, smelled like weed, hallways that smell like weed and elevators and hotel that needs maintenance it is not worth the money.

I wish I could give zero stars this place is so old, no renovations, but charging 2021 prices. Also racist staff. You have to make reservations for pool we made the reservation, went to pool. When we came to pool it was a white family there and I heard the attendant tell them if the next reservation didn't show up they can stay. But no one was there when our time was up and we got kicked out. The sign claims they are cleaning in between and they are not! The pool was dirty! It was so much hair and you couldn't even see through to the bottom of pool. The rooms are so dark and dingy! The

A beautiful hotel with beautiful staff. A bit confusing to find their parking garage. 2 places to eat within the hotel. There's a arcade for kids and also a pool which I didn't get to check out. There's a rooftop bar which is ok for pregaming, was no very inviting when we went. Best thing about this hotel is how close it is to the boardwalk and the fact that it's in the dead center so one day you can go left and explore and the next day go right and explore.
