Our 2 children have been attending LASER for 5 and 3 years respectively, and they LOVE it! Both kids really like the LASER counselors, who genuinely know them and care for them. We love LASER! Our daughter has been with LASER since her Kindergarten year and we have been so impressed with the program, and so thankful to be a part of it.
I think LASER is awesome! I like that the counselors are nice and fun to hang out with. I really like Book Club, Harry Potter Club, Art Club, Sports Club, Community Service Club. LASER is fun and enjoyable! The counselors are fun and kind and will help if something is wrong. They have many options that are fun and educational.

LASER is a non-profit organization providing high-quality, year-round childcare to families in Northeast Seattle. We provide safe, fun, and enriching programs to help elementary-age children grow and thrive at school-site locations. By building bridges between school, work, and home schedules, LASER strengthens families and our community.
We now go by the name "LASER Childcare." We have a team of qualified personnel who are committed to providing excellent programming for children. LASER is directed by an Executive Director and overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors. During the school year, we offer a licensed after-school enrichment program for children attending kindergarten through sixth grades.
At LASER, we all know that children benefit most when counselors engage in meaningful and stimulating interactions to support development and learning. Our skilled counselors are dedicated to interacting and engaging with our students to ensure quality care for your children. We are proud to have a goal of a staff-to-child ratio of 1:10.

Primary Function: Assists in planning, implementing, evaluating, and delivery of a broad range of programs; provides the best possible learning environment for children assigned to them and works for the best interest of LASER; prepares materials for their assigned programs; works and interacts with children; cleans and maintains their learning environment; and supervises children safely.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. They are the most negative babysitter’s, I have ever encountered. No one in the facility have any childhood background. 10:1 ratio. Two months ago I had to stop two children from running outside. They are on a very busy street and those kids could have been killed. No adult supervision anywhere!!!!! Do not send your child to Laser. My child went there for 3 months and it was 3 months too long. We hated it there!!!!
