KidsCentre partners with Happy Feet Soccer programs to offer Kidscentre kids the opportunity to develop gross motor skills, creativity, and positive self-concept through the game of soccer.
Weekly lessons are provided as a program enhancement at no additional cost for families. KidsCentre has a long-standing relationship with Imagination Band a local children's musical group that's mission is to infuse children with a love for music, dance and storytelling. KidsCentre was founded over 34 years ago with the mission to provide a high-quality nurturing, engaging, safe and creative early learning educational environment for Infant to Pre-K children in the heart of Seattle for families living and working downtown. KidsCentre Inc, located in downtown Seattle, near the waterfront, is looking for dynamic and experienced early childhood teachers - full time, part-time, and substitute positions available. Have been sending my son to KC since he was 4 months old. He is now 1.5 years old and knows exactly where to go when I drop him off. He walks through the doors and turns left to his room with no hesitation (or goodbye to his poor mother)! I believe KC has helped shaped my baby into a sweet, active, social little boy I highly recommend KC

My two boys recently enrolled in January. It is not fair if I write something good or bad about the center but it is definitely the truth if the words are coming out from my boys' mouth.
In short, they love the new place. At first I was so concerned that it might have to take a couple of weeks for them to get used to the new environment but I was so amazed that they loved the center after the first day.
Frankly, it is very hard to find a perfect daycare in Seattle downtown. So many factors you need to consider - cost (unless you are OK with spending $5K/month), the teachers, schedule, food

Love love love KidsCentre! Given it has only been 2 months since my daughter started, I can't stop raving about this place. The teachers and staff have been amazing! They are super informative and attentive. They have an app that makes communication super easy and allows me to get up to date information on what my daughter did for the day. And most importantly, my daughter is having a great time! I highly recommend!!

We've only been at Kids Centre for a little over a year and I cannot say enough about how wonderful Kids Centre is. Not only does it feel homey and wonderful, they are full service (diapers, food, field trips are all included), they really take the time to get to know the parents. More important than all of that is the staff. From the moment you hand your seemingly brand new baby off to Ms. Mila in the baby room, you know are you are good hands (possibly better than yours- she knows her stuff). After that love and care from all the staff is wonderful- teachers from classrooms that we are YEARS

We loved this daycare for our 13 month daughter.. the teachers are amazing and very friendly. The kids were taken out for a walk twice a day and it included the ferry station, pikes market, art museum.. unfortunately due to long commute we had to find another daycare. However, we still miss our daughters first daycare! :)

We love Kidscentre! Our son and daughter have attended Kidscentre Post Alley for 2+ years. We could not have asked for a more caring community of professional educators for our children. They have done everything they could to meet our needs and help nurture our children.
1) The teachers and staff have consistently impressed us with their genuine love of my kids. Each teacher has made an impression on my son and daughter and has made them feel special and loved. Quarterly conferences create skill assessment and plan which included potty training and kindergarten readiness.

Our baby has been at Kids Centre for about a month. We are very happy with our decision to have the Kids Centre team take care of him. At Kids Centre, our baby has ample socialization, lots of different toys to play with and activities to encourage his development, music time, walks out in the neighborhood, and caring attention from his teachers. We love the daily photo/video updates and his daily report. Big thanks to the teachers and staff.

If you are looking for a daycare conveniently located in Downtown, I highly suggest KidsCentre. Our child has been with KidsCentre Post Alley since 11 months old (now 15 months), and we can't say enough great things about the organization. A few comments:
1) Staff are incredibly friendly and nurturing to the children.
2) The facilities are always well maintained and clean.
3) GREAT communication from the staff that engage with the children, and the administrative staff. I always know whats happening and how my child is doing.

We recently relocated to Seattle and visited several schools for our 4yo son. Kids Centre was the only school with the complete package: availability, curriculum, price and location. We came across a couple other great schools but they were unfortunately a 30-40 minute drive away. We've been nothing but happy with the school and our son feels the same way.
