Services
We have three unique programs designed to meet the childcare and preschool needs of almost every family with children from 6 weeks old until they are ready to enter kindergarten. First Steps Program: First Steps is a twelve-month, full-time childcare program for families with children from 6 weeks through preschool who need a stimulating, safe, and caring all-day environment for their children to grow and flourish.
A Child's Place Five's Program is designed to give children the time they need to strengthen and develop important kindergarten readiness skills. The Fives Program will allow for an equal balance between academics and play. Children will be given opportunities to further enhance their cognitive and social skills, which will build their confidence and promote a joy of learning that lasts a lifetime.

Can’t say enough great things about this wonderful school. Started both my girls when I went back to work (3 - 4 months old) and the nurturing environment really helped me with the transition! The teachers are incredibly patient, loving and calm and keep me sane each day. The student / teacher ratios are fantastic and the hours are ideal for working parents with early drop off and late pick ups. There is enrichment provided to the children, as well. Even the babies are doing art, yoga and participating in music class! It’s amazing to see. The community of parents is also incredibly supportive

I love this school and the community it fostered in our lives so much I decided to have another baby just so I wouldn’t have to leave. I’m joking... but also completely serious. The teachers and staff have been amazingly understanding and loving to my family; the curriculum is exactly what is recommended as the best for young children according to the latest research; and, key for me, the indoor play space is perfect for young kids who need to be able to run around despite the weather. I have only amazing things to say about A Child's Place. I have had four children go through the program and would highly recommend it, having experience at two other preschools. The environment is nurturing, the teachers are loving, and the extremely dedicated director genuinely cares about each child and parent. I am in a better mood every time I leave the school, knowing that my children have been able to have that experience. My daughter started in the infant room at A Child’s Place and has since graduated to the 3’s program. Now, my son is in the infant room. My husband and I have been so pleased with their development. The teachers are so attentive to the children and display a very loving, yet constructive style to their approach. The variety of activities throughout the day such as yoga, music, outdoor play in the garden, and art are some of the many great attributes the school has to offer. We love everything about this pre-school and daycare facility - from the amazing teachers and staff to the expansive play areas to the exciting daily activities including yoga, art and music. In addition to the excellent and nurturing program, a bonus is the convenience they offer of early drop-off, extended day care options and hot lunch options.

I had high hopes that we would love it here and I was so disappointed when it turned out to be a negative experience for my whole family. The building is really cute and for the most part they are welcoming but there is a lack of basic understanding of child development here. I was basically told they believed my son was autistic. Completely floored my husband and I as no one has ever suggested and we didn't notice any of the thing they observed. We couldn’t be more thrilled with our children’s experience at A Child’s Place preschool. We moved from NYC barely knowing anybody, and as soon as we walked into A Child’s Place we felt at home. The director and teachers are kind, attentive and dedicated, and the parent community is so diverse and involved. They offer specials like Spanish, yoga, music, art and animal embassy, and the kids learn so much on a daily basis. Highly recommend!

What a special place! Choosing a preschool is a daunting task with so many options - after touring and researching lots of schools we landed at ACP and couldn’t be happier! It’s an accredited pre school with flexible hours and amazing teachers and staff! My kids absolute love going to school and I love that when they graduate they are ready to hit kindergarten running! Not to mention our amazing summer camp/3s teacher basically potty trained my eldest haha! Only snag is it fills up fast so apply early!!
