Nurses available around the clock-providing expert clinical care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Licensed physical, occupational, speech and respiratory therapists and other specialists who work with our nursing staff to coordinate your customized plan of care. Innovative therapeutic services, including massage and neuromuscular therapy, that focus on wound care, pain management and strengthening programs.
All residents at Astoria Place have the option to choose private or semi-private rooms. Our recent renovations include newly redesigned accommodations, comfortable new furniture, and warm earth-tone decor. Astoria place allowed me to not only get better physically but also mentally. I was able to gain the strength to finally walk again and I was able to build confidence with the help of therapy. Administration has done great job in providing me a great staff to care me while I was here. Receptionist Karen Guzman was always positive. Patty Davis the Administrator has great influence on her staff and they work really well together. Spent nearly 7 weeks at Astoria Place and throughout my time there my experience was very pleasant. The nursing care was of high quality and a good staff. Administrative staff, social workers, and Administrator took my concerns seriously. CNAs' and RNs' bedside manner was high and always felt they cared and fulfilled my requests to the best of their abilities. The activities staff and the Occupational/Physical Therapy personnel were highly effective. Without a doubt I highly recommend this facility.

I am sad that I have to leave Astoria Place, but my time has come to go back home. I am forever grateful for the 2nd floor Astoria Staff. The staff are simply beautiful people!! They are very caring, kind, polite, and clean. During my short time stay at Astoria Place I met simply beautiful people who have taken care of me. My current experience at Astoria Place has been very pleasant. My social worker, Lucille has been very understanding and helpful in meeting my needs. I love that Astoria Place has a social worker, nurse, and a physician that I can communicate with in my primary language (Chinese). I enjoy the food here and gain 5 pounds since my stay at Astoria. The therapy staff have been extremely helpful and have continued to assist me in regaining my strength and independence. I would recommend Astoria Place to others because they have taken good care of me.

I truly admire the team at Astoria Place for all the hard work that they do. From day one, the staff were welcoming and comforting to me. As I am writing this review I begin to reflect on how weak I was at the beginning. I truly thought I was not going to be able to walk again, but the team brought me back to life! I am forever grateful with the therapy team. In specific, Sandie and Erica for motivating and encouraging me during my therapy sessions. My brother was recently admitted and discharged from this rehab. I am so grateful that he received excellent care! I would call to check on him two to three times daily, and he would always rave about how well he was being treated by the staff. His physical therapy sessions were great. The nurses and cna would check on him on a regular basis, and always inquired, if he was in need of anything. He also stated that they were very kind. My brother was referred to Astoria from his treating Physician at Rush Presbyterian for Physical Therapy however due to medical conditions his stay at Astoria Place Rehab ended up being over 150 days. He was very angry and agitated, the staff continued treating him as the friendly patient he was when he arrived! Once we understood their definition of family patient conferences we were able to really communicate any issues to our satisfaction. My mom was a resident at Astoria place. She had a fall and we took her to Swedish hospital. She needed a lot of rehab before I could take her home. The Social worker at Swedish gave me a list of options to choose from and Astoria was one of the top choices. I went in for a tour and the facility was amazing and the team there seemed very friendly and the building itself was kept very neat and the rooms looked amazing.

It was a great pleasure of being a resident at Astoria place nursing home. Staff made me feel like I was at home. I was very comfortable and felt very safe. Nurses were good. Helped me when needed. My social worker Yelena T was very helpful with my discharge. She is an amazing person. Also Yolanda from restorative made me stronger and helped me achieve my goal on walking up 3 flights of steps which I have to walk to get to my home. My mother was admitted to this facility for rehab. i am honestly shocked by reading these other reviews. My family and I personally had a great experience at Astoria Place. My mother stayed in this facility for a little over 6 months. The therapy team their is absolutely wonderful! They helped my mother gain her strength back post fall. The cna's on the floor seemed to be very caring and helpful to my mother's needs.
