Pros: the staff at the front desk were helpful and the nurse was kind.
Cons: the psychiatrist I saw gave me two meds that severely interacted, causing my temperature to spike 4 degrees and ruining a couple days. She gave me another that interacted with cannabis, which she knew I used daily for chronic medical issues. I left to find another psychiatrist and have been trying to pay the bill from last year for months, but the only payment option given was a phone number for the billing department, which is working remote. If you're a mentally ill person looking for compassionate & safe care with

Chop Shop mental health care. Ran me through multiple counselors, who ended up quitting or being let go. Only got to meet the actual Psycologist 1 time and in my opinion he didn't even listen.

As far as client care goes I can’t speak to that. What I can speak to is working for Cascade. It was a miserable experience. Management is unsupportive and going to the executive team or HR does nothing.
Sarah Kimball pretends to care and listen but does nada to make anything better.
The good staff have dropped like flies over the last couple of years, all going to other behavioral health agencies and that includes myself.
Bringing up the lack of compliance with mask wearing and having my concerns dismissed were the last straw.
If you want to work for a BH organization who pays less than

Mental health counseling side of cascade is not very good. Dealt with this company for about 2 years. They really don't counsel, and they really don't treat their clients with personable services (me and my partner experienced.) They simply sit back and let you talk in circles, then cut the appointment off 15 min or more early while providing no closing of the wounds. They are not trained to actually offer skills and tools to grow and heal from a condition. They are more like social workers. Don't expect to be in any better condition mentally than when you started. Also, some people (me) they just

I volunteered to stay at their evaluation and treatment center. I was lied to by some mental health professional if i agreed to stay on the inpatient side for few days and would be able to move to another side with more freedom.i should got it in writing. I was lied to. Made my experience more traumatic. I saw a mental health pro 2 times out of 7 days. This place was wanting funding for their facility,so feel. If wasn't so out I would have told them they can only hold someone for 72 hours if you go in voluntary. Remember that if you are ever held in their treatment center.

Avoid if you have any other option. Their patient policies are draconian, and if you have any issues that you can't control, like missing even one of your manditory for getting psych meds counseling sessions due to illness or family emergency or them telling you that you're not covered, they can drop you instantly. When this happens, they will stop writing prescriptions for any meds they've been providing, even if you are scrambling to find a new psych or primary care provider and are about to run out, including meds like anti-convulants or anti-psychotics that could kill you if you were to stop

If I could give a ZERO, I would! AVOID this clinic if at all possible! The physician treated my daughter and was the worst clinician we have ever experienced in all the years of mental health care (16 years)! When it was time for her refill and followup, he argued with me for 30 minutes over the phone that she was not even a patient of his when in fact she was and had been for the past year. Unfortunately, the mental health care in Washington is so poor we chose to move out of state because of it! RUN from this provider!!

Just want to say that this is an awesome place if you are truly looking for mental health care. If you care about yourself in your family this is a place to go to, they care about you and they help you every way they can. I have never had a mental health program go so far out of their way to help me with my mental health and with my personal problems. Thank you so much Cascade Mental Health you are changing lives everyday.
