Kara's class was the best practice I've ever experienced. I don't know what it was but everything clicked.

Take Kara Yourself Yoga offers private and semi-private yoga session as well Thai massage. Private, in-home or out in nature Yoga session catered to your very own needs and wants, with young living and do-terra essential oils. Yoga mats and props are provided. All of the above in a private group setting with your friends, family or partner.
I was born in Santa Monica where I attended Santa Monica High School. During that time I started practicing Yoga at the local studios. My college years in Miami and in Spain were busy and didn't allow me to practice Yoga as much as I would have liked. However in my senior year I was drawn back in having found a teacher whom I connected with.
Kara's style of teaching has the ability to make you feel welcome, as you are, with whatever you may be working with on that day. Yoga is a personal practice. Although it may not seem that way through a "vinyasa flow", it truly is different for everyone. It's about listening to your body in that moment.
This is a unique meditative massage that combines rhythmic acupressure, energy work, yogic stretches and gentle twits. It is healing for the body, mind and spirit. The ancient art of Thai Massage is done with clothes on. It's not on a table, but on the floor (with cushion of course). It stretches you out and gets into the tight spots that wouldn't be as accessible without a little maneuvering around.
Kara Rosenthal is a gifted teacher who weaves a thoughtfully balanced class that both flows, challenges, informs and inspires one to move into balance. She is thoroughly trained in many styles of yoga and has trained with many master teachers. Her style is a blend that takes the best of the teachings she embodies and offers it forward.
