Nicole is a fantastic yoga teacher. She will lead you in a beautiful yoga practice. She will be aware of your needs, injuries and provide the necessary modifications to lead you in a beautiful practice. I highly recommend anyone to take Nicole class. When I first moved back to Santa Barbara I signed up for Nicole's Intro to Yoga class at Source Yoga and was so impressed with her knowledge, expertise and passion.

Source is so, so excellent! You walk in, and there is an abundance of positive energy--genuine, unpretentious, and truly excellent. Nicole and Jen are definitely among the best teachers in SB; their classes are intuitive and fresh, and I always leave feeling inspired. Looking forward to trying out more teachers soon! Highly recommend! :D

This is a late review but here it goes. I was in Santa Barbara in March for a mini girl trip with a friend and decided to schedule a private session with Nicole. Since my friend was just learning about yoga, I wanted to start her off slowly with gentle and restorative flow. Nicole is passionate with what she does. We ended our session with a chant and she sang with such grace and beauty. I was not expecting her to sing. I left her studio feeling inspired by her. This studio is a gem. I will definitely be back anytime I am in the area. Thank you Nicole for your kindness and hospitality. Until we

I really love Source. I've been practicing there for 3 years now. The space is clean and the classes are small, which I really prefer. The instructors are knowledgeable and really helpful. Everyone's always been very friendly.
I attended Nicole's Ashtanga classes for some time (really helped me improve my poses). Kristen's Friday afternoon class used to be my favorite way to transition out of work mode and into my weekend (good music, challenging flow class!), but she's since left and now I'm really digging Meredith's Flow to Strength class on Thursday nights

This was the first yoga studio I tried when I moved to SB, I signed up for the new student special: 5 classes for $35, good for a month.
I tried the Yoga Basics class and a Flow class. The instructors are patient and in my experience, demonstrated the asanas at the front of the room and moved about the room to help us go deeper into our poses. They were all intimate classes with soft music in the background. I found the classes to be peaceful and rejuvenating.

I have been going to source over these last 4 or 5 months and it has become the glue that glue which binds my week together. I am usually go go go all week long so taking some time out and transforming yourself in sources sapce is magical.
Nicole's class are fun and she has a great sense of humor and a very positive encouraging attitude. I'd say the classes are the right amount push with just enough pull to balance things out. Nicole encourages you to move out of your comfort zone, but as any grat teacher, she praises our current state of being and reminds us constantly that we are

I have been attending this studio for the past 3 years! I can say without a doubt that it is the best yoga studio in town. The classes are intimate and lots of personal attention is given to the student. It is more then just another yoga studio, it is a community! And they are known for their awesome, most affordable teacher training programs in the tri-county. 5 + stars.

I LOOooooOOOooVe Source Yoga. It's hands-down my favorite Yoga Studio in SB. I feel a little conflicted writing up a review, because on the one hand they deserve praise, but on the other hand Source is kind of a wonderful little secret. I like Yoga Soup and Santa Barbara Yoga Center too, but their classes can tend to get crowded...and sometimes I find the classes/students/teachers off-putting, but it's not necessary to expound the reasons. Source remains my favorite go-to spot because of the intimate class sizes, it costs less than the other yoga studios, and I thoroughly enjoy the

Source is my favorite yoga studio in the SB/Ventura area. Even before you step on a mat there, you notice the atmosphere and attention to detail of the surroundings - healthy plants indoors and out, original art on the walls, and an immaculate floor and bathroom. Nicole is my favorite instructor but I have enjoyed each of the classes I've attended because the instructors are both passionate about yoga and care for you as an individual. I've recently moved away but always felt most comfortable there because the classes are not as crowded as other studios. I like Source so much that

During an 8 months surf trip in Baja CaliforniaI in 1998 I met Nicole , we bumped into each other at a beach near Todos Santo in Mexico, both living at the beach and the waves, we started to talk and we shared some yoga bits and lots of girls talk which was really good. Every day she did her yoga routines at the beach and it was breathtaken to watch her, I myself didnt dare to make myself look stupid next to her. All, including the hard core surfers stopped whatever they did and watched her too.
Before we left, she gave a few copies of Asthanga Yoga daily training which I still use to follow on

Love love love Source! Aside from being one of the more affordable studios in town, each instructor brings a completely different energy to the space - try out a few to find one that fits your yoga needs. Classes are normally very small (between 2-12 people on average), so you often get personalized attention and adjustments.
I make time for Kristin's Friday 5:30 core strength class (an awesome way to kick the weekend off - even if I do miss happy hour) and Nathalie's yin yoga class on T/Th at 12:15 (when I can sneak away from work for a three-marichyasana lunch-heh). There&apos

I've been to a few yoga studios in SB and found that I love Source because the classes are small, the instructors are friendly and I don't feel like I have to be an absolute yoga nut to attend. There are series offered and drop-in sessions, student discounts and the room is calming and inviting. This is a small and community oriented studio. The intro classes with Emily are great - they have a moderate pace and new skills are built into each session.
