I got into my car and found that my battery needed help starting, so I called Iron Towing at around 10 pm on a Wednesday night.
They required credit card information up front, to charge me in case I made a cancellation after their roadside assistance already drove out to meet me.
The mechanic came about half an hour after I called. He was great - helped me out with the battery and I was happily on my way.
The 3 stars is for the $140 they charged, which I think is pretty steep for a 5-minute battery start.

DO NOT GET SCAMMED! I did. Called for jump. After waiting awhile called back, said would be another 35 minutes, tried to cancel, but said they’d charge me $50. for canceling. (Shouldn’t have given cc number.) Then, someone arrived in a plain unmarked car, TRIED TO CHARGE ME $150. FOR A JUMP THAT WOULD TAKE TWO MINUTES. A jump. I asked why so high and kept just saying that was the charge, and he could leave. So I let him leave, and he fired some rude comments at me. I have NEVER been treated so rudely and extorted. Bye $50. And no better off, just wasted time when I could have dealt with an

Iron Towing San Francisco - WWOOW!super fast, nice guys, even knew how to put the car on the truck properly with screw in hook rather than just pulling it by the chassis. Guy is who helped me out, would def use again,i was stuck in the city and they have towed me in the best price and in the best estimated time in the after non... i can only thank you guy for helping me to get home !
