A must see while on the coast, the famous Glass Beach is located right here in Fort Bragg. Our tips: go at low tide and explore the newly opened second glass beach. It's about 100 yards south of the main beach (that much of the glass has been taken from). Come see, but please leave the glass for future visitors to our town.

The North Cliff Hotel is a delightful hotel with an excellent balcony view of the ocean. Our room was furnished with beautiful household furniture, not standard corporate hotel duds. The lobby offers gifts, souvenirs, and wine. I was impressed that our room had cold coffee creamer. It was in the room's refrigerator. Most hotels don't think of that. Our room was also furnished with wine glasses and a wine opener. They seemed to think of everything. The best part was the in-room gas fireplace. I will stay here again!

Stayed for 4 days! Beautiful room, well maintained; amazing views. The room had ambient floor heating which makes it so comfortable and cozy! Due to issues, the hotel did notify us they were turning off the water for a few hours and afterward, the hot water was not working till the next day. We were unable to use the soaking tub or shower for that day, but the hotel claimed the issues a small credit for the inconvenience. One complaint I have is that they don't automatically email an invoice when you use the remote check out, so I did not actually see the credit. Besides that, nice location. Many

Clean with a nice view. Access to the harbor area by foot is not very good, as far as I could tell. I tried the couple paths around the hotel but they didn't lead readily to the harbor area below. There is a paved path on the hotel side of the upper cliff. But to access the harbor seems to be an unmarked dirt trail down a steep hill. They need to make a good path down to the harbor so you can get to the fabulous seafood!

Room was spotless/Awesome view!. We really like how they are thoughtful with detail items in the room per example they have ear plugs, wine opener, wine glasses, silverware 🍽 plates, coffee cups, robes for him and her (just to mention some items) they even give you a cute buggy with breakfast. The lady that attend us on 11.13.21 @ 5:20pm at the front desk super nice and friendly .

By far the best hotel we have ever stayed at. Spacious rooms. Beautiful views from every room. Amazing staff. We had a balcony, jacuzzi, fireplace, king size bed, a couch, coffee table, dresser, night stands, table (with ice bucket, 2 wine glasses, a bottle opener), refrigerator/freezer, microwave, safe, coffee pot (with coffee, tea, sugar, sweet n low) and half and half in the refrigerator. Robes, ironing board and iron, hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, ear plugs, makeup remover towelettes and face and body bar. All of this at a great price! Continental breakfast included

What can I say about the North Cliff Hotel in Fort Bragg other than it was truely magical 💖
The jetted bathtub next to the fireplace with a view of the ocean was obviously our favorite part! It fit both of us… quite nicely but the hubby let me have some alone time in at as well because this 6'1, curvy lady can't even remember the last time she fully fit in a bathtub 🤣 The sounds of the ocean, fog horn, seagulls, and seals, were so nice to go to sleep to and wake up to. We slept with all of the shades open to let the sun wake us up with the beautiful view each morning. The

Great hotel. Stayed in the King suite near the harbor entrance. Very nice feel and had a breakfast to go bag with OJ,, fruit, granola bar, and a coffee cake. Also has complimentary bottle water, coffee, and tea. Even has a bath robe to sit next to the fireplace. The only downside is the fog horn at the harbor entrance next to my room goes off constantly, which my effect your sleep. I just closed the window and it helped. They also have complimentary disposable ear plugs in the room. It might be quieter on the other side of the hotel. I was fine in my room and would stay there again

We loved our stay at your hotel! We were on the second floor in the center of the building. The room was very clean. It's obvious, the owners take great pride in the hotel and keep it nicely updated and clean.… We stayed at 10 hotels down the west coast and this one was one of our favorites! The eucalyptus trees smelled amazing while we sat on the balcony. Highly recommend

I will start with the things I was pleased with: the view is amazing, the room was VERY spacious, the room was clean, the bed and pillows were comfy, and the front desk clerk was very helpful. I was a little concerned with reading some of the reviews because someone said the pictures make it look better than it really is, but the pictures I saw online were very accurate and I was pleasantly surprised the room was as nice as it was.
Now I will move to what I didn't like. There is no air conditioning. Please don't tell me that Fort Bragg has a cool climate and you don't need it

Great location, friendly staff, and gorgeous views! We had a top floor two queen suite and it did NOT disappoint. There was a little sofa, chair, and coffee table, plenty of counter space on top of the dresser, mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. No A/C, but there was a fan in the closet. My only complaint is that our room didn't have a screen door to the patio. We would have really enjoyed leaving the slider open to get fresh air. It was on day two of our trip that we noticed our neighbor had a sliding screen door. Maybe our room's was broken and removed? Regardless, it would

The view from the room was astounding! But everything else was average.
The hotel is LOUD. And I am not complaining about the foghorn that goes off every 30 seconds. The loud noise comes from the roadway bridge, beach area and hotel neighbors.
There's no air conditioning at this hotel. That might be fine if you could open a window or the sliding door to catch the ocean breeze. We couldn't and our room heater wouldn't turn off.
The room was large. The bathroom vanity area also was the location of the refrigerator and microwave. Coffee station next to bathroom sink.

We were really excited to stay here, and specifically chose to book a stay with them in June because of their COVID health and safety protocols; in particular, they were opening the lobby to one person at a time.
We booked our room on May 15th, when protocols were still in place. We even discussed the situation with the staff over the phone before booking. We called on June 2nd to verify that we could still check in in a safe fashion, and they told us that they would not be partaking in any further COVID protocols after June 15th.
My partner was told on the phone that they were not willing to

Large specious room, mine had 2 queen beds a sitting area, fireplace, and a fabulous view. The beds were comfy, everything was very clean. The room had a fridge, microwave and 2 sets of silverware, small plates, cups and glasses. It was nice to not have paper cups. You can hear the fog horn, but I found it relaxing and the room had ear plugs if you need them. The breakfast room is lovely with great views, breakfast was basic but good. My only negative was the lighting, the bathroom area was fine but the room is quite large and could use better lighting - but that may be just me I travel for
