Alcohol has been a prevalent part of society and its history for many years. It is seen everywhere from entertainment, to a night out on the town, to the local grocery store. In fact, a study done in 2013 by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) states that around 1.3 million people received treatment for an alcohol dependency at a specialized facility in that year alone.

There isn't a cut and dry indicator to determine when someone needs to seek out treatment. Addiction is a complicated beast and the people who struggle with it have become masters at concealing their abuse. Someone can have a serious addiction and their family and friends may not know it simply because the individual has learned to be sneaky when it comes to their dangerous habit.
The 12-step process is a program that has shown to be a highly effective method of combating relapse. The 12-step is considered "a set of principles, spiritual in nature [that], when practiced as a way of living, can expel the obsession to drink and enable the sufferer to become happily and usefully whole."
Alcohol addiction is an overwhelming threat to the well-being of those who are under the control of its deadly grips. There are many psychological and physical consequences to alcohol dependency. These problems can however be addressed and resolved with alcohol rehab. Alcoholism is not uncommon. Many people have struggled to overcome alcohol addiction and negative side effects that come with it.
Addiction is a destructive force that tears apart families and destroys dreams. Many addicts are in denial that they have a serious problem. Here at Better Recovery Rehabilitation Center we believe that addiction is a disease and not a moral failing, and we treat it as such. We offer an extensive amount of tools and resources needed to overcome the battle with this vicious force.
An intervention is a process, not an event, which culminates in the loved ones getting together-often with a specialist-to express their wishes for the addict to go into treatment. Alcoholics often try and do whatever they can to avoid getting the help they need. Studies have shown that interventions have a 90 to 95 success rate in getting the person to go to treatment.
