Curahealth
Together, we offer long-term acute care (LTAC) and inpatient rehabilitation facilities (IRFs). Curahealth operates long-term acute care (LTAC) hospitals with medical rehabilitation programs. Transforming health means embracing higher standards for superior patient outcomes, quality healthcare and exceptional service.

It's the standard that our patients come to expect, and it's the standard we employ at each Curahealth Hospital and Cobalt Rehabilitation facility. As one of the few owner-operated inpatient long-term acute care (LTAC) and inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) providers in the United States, our long-term investment in the communities we serve is unmatched.
Services
Our 10 hospitals provide specialized, goal-oriented care for critically ill patients who require extended recovery time. Curahealth Hospitals are Medicare-certified to support a longer length of stay - usually weeks, not days - as compared to the typical five-day stay for patients in traditional hospitals.
Patients who choose free-standing inpatient rehabilitation facilities gain accessto outstanding medical expertise, abundant resources as well as best in class treatment programs not usually available at acute care hospital inpatient units or skilled nursing facilities.

Patients at free-standing rehabilitation hospitals also receive increased levels of involvement, attentiveness and personalized care by physicians and their staff, naturally creating warmer, more comforting environments to better nurture patient needs.
Curahealth Jacksonville features an interdisciplinary team approach to patient care, including:. Please visit http://pricing.floridahealthfinder.gov for information on payments made to facilities for defined service bundles and procedures. The service bundle information is a non-personalized estimate of costs that may be incurred by a patient for anticipated services and that actual costs will be based on services actually provided.
Cobalt Rehabilitation facilities are designed to treat patients with complex physical and cognitive problems. We have created spa-like environments that promote healing and a return to independence. Each hospital suite is private with flat screen television, wireless internet, and all the amenities of home.
We are an equal opportunity employer that values diversity. Candidates of diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply. At Curahealth Hospitals and Cobalt Rehabilitation facilities, diversity isn't simply a word used to describe the varied faces you meet in our halls. Diversity describes what we believe in.

The sister hospital Cobalt Rehab Hospital is horrible. Stay away. They have allowed my father to lay in a wet bed two mornings so far. He fell in the elevator and seriouly hurt himself. The head nurse told me it happened due to a family member down...which was a lie. I talked to the quality control lady. She said keeping a patient in a wet and not answering the nurses bell is common in any facility. ***STAY AWAY****

Worst place you could ever send a loved one. Nursing staff is horrible as well as respiratory staff. They cannot get any real respiratory therapists to stay they use a staffing company. The one they have there now is a complete idiot. She works day shift and the nurses are frustrated as well. My loved one has suffered greatly with this lady taking care of him. I have spoken to the administrator and her hands are tied as there aren't any nurses or RTS with real experience knocking down the door. How is it ok that there is substandard nursing and respiratory care in these facilities. Are all

Do not bring your loved one to this place. You will not be allowed to visit them. They are not following the Arizona Department of Health Services recommended visitation guidelines. They currently do not allow any week-end visits which means if you work you can NEVER visit your loved one.

Our father was transported to the OKC, OK hospital yesterday. First we did not agree to that, second no one will call us to tell us how he is doing. We cannot get anyone on the phone to tell us how he is doing.
When I finally got ahold of a nurse I asked the nurse if we could have someone call us once a day to give us an update and she told me “no… that cannot be done.” Well if he’s too weak to even press the call button and we are not allowed in there due to covid, then how are we supposed to know if he is okay?
I would not allow anyone to send their family members or

There are really no nice words to describe this place. THIS PLACE IS A DISGRACE!!! My father was sent here from vanderbilt after a massive aortic dissection causing multiple strokes. Being to critical for home but not critical enough to remain in the hospital my mother chose this place due to lack of covid. At the begining the visitation policy was… 1 family member for 1 hour daily except weekend (absolutely no visitors on weekends) for the duration of his stay. Well the 2nd week that changed to only 30 minutes 3 days a week. We were told we could call and check on him anytime day or night

This place lacks professionalism and sensitivity.
My mother in law was placed in this facility and it was heartbreaking to see how they treated the family. And if that's how they treated them how were they treating my mother in law whom we had no access too.
Please consider other options. This place is terrible

DO NOT SENT ANYONE HERE FOR ANY REASON. This place is absolutely terrible. My father was sent here at the recommendation of the hospital. In these Covid times they would not let me tour the facility, which I do understand and thought since the hospital recommended it, it must be ok. I was so wrong. The very first night, with the nurse not knowing I was on the phone, started yelling at my father over a glass of water. It was 3:00am and she yelled at him saying he had water at 10:30 and didn't need any damn water. The next day I tried to contact the facility, I had seven different phone

To say this facility is horrible/terrible is an understatement! Their interest is in making money not caring for your loved one. Please take your loved one else where! They made many promises and I came to understand they are just salesman wanting business! Our experience with this facility was a nightmare!

I had the privilege of being treated at Cobalt Rehab Hospital in Fargo, ND after a craniotomy and resection of the left hemisphere of my brain to remove a tennis ball sized tumor. I arrived with at the most 5% use of my right leg, and major balance issues which would have made living at home a dangerous situation.
With their intensive… rehabilitation from both a physical and occupational standpoint, I left their facility walking with a cane, and able to do several tasks around the house. In addition, I feel confident on uneven outdoor surfaces, going up and down stairs, and I've developed

They admit they expect your loved one to die.
They treat them like they expect them to die.
Don't put your loved one in here unless you have given up. Nice enough people, totally understaffed. My dad crashed and got himself out of there by getting himself into the ER where he could be taken care of.

Prior to the 2018 holiday season, my father suffered a tragic fall which resulted in an immediate hip replacement. Despite a successful surgical process in the Banner Health System, his doctors found additional undiagnosed health issues that had needed to be treated in order for him to recover and survive. After 30 days in the Banner Health System, we were told they had done everything medically they could do for him and his only chance for recovery would be to consider a post-acute care facility. After extended research and by several recommendations, we met with the CEO Deb Hawkinson as well

The RT department is filled with amazing experienced people. They cared for my Dad with the utmost respect and care that I have ever experienced at a facility. If your family member needs the wound care team please make sure they are doing their job as they seem to be forgetful on updating family members on progress or concerns.

This place took my son in from being in I.C U. for 39 days from a horrific motorcycle accident. He had severe head injuries, had open wound to the bone, where his bone had come through his ankle, other wounds as well, had chest tube twice in I C.U., both wounds still healing from removal, healing from plastic surgery done to rebuild his entire face as every single bone in his face had been fractured, had to rebuild his eye sockets, nasal cavity, nose, above upper lip, forehead, and jaw, having plates(too many to count) throughout his face, jaw wired shut, as well as a tracheotomy and was on breathing
