Very sketchy business, would never recommend to someone. Tiffany Murdock, who runs the place, never cared to answer emails or maintenance requests, they come in your apartment basically every week to "inspect" but its definitely for bugs. When I was trying to cancel my lease they would not let me get the paper to do so. Couldn't get an email back and office was closed for covid. When I finally got it, filled it out, and gave to them. They would not see me in person, but instead made me pick it up under the door of their office when they were inside. Thought it was finally all over

They were really kind up until I told them I was not interested in a property anymore. Totally put me off. I would rather lose the $45 application fee than to be unhappy and read a snarky comment in an email. Now I know I made the right choice by passing. Will not even think about looking at one of their properties again.

Rented from them for 3 years. It was just right for what I needed as a college student. I lived two blocks away from campus and was so close to everything I needed to have a fun experience in Denton. The building definitely showed it's age, but was the most affordable studio I could find in Denton at the time. Everything is getting outrageously expensive! Over my 3 years spent at the apartment on Oak St., the maintenance was always timely, my neighbors were kind, and it was relatively quiet for the most part. They sprayed for bugs every 3 months, and replaced my A/C unit when the heater broke in

I lived here for one year, and it was the worst year of my life. Where do I start? There were several times when the management and the maintenance entered my apartment without my permission. Even while me and my girlfriend were upstairs on the weekends. They would not warn me of there entrance, they would just come in. When I asked politely for the management to send me an email, text, or call regarding the entrance of my apartment without my knowledge, their reply was "We have over 200 units to maintain and we cannot keep track of alerting everyone. Also not everyone has the emails."-Tiffany

I rented with this company for 14 months. The maintenance on it was absolutely terrible. Improper insulation, open and unshielded electrical lines, plumbing held together with duct tape and epoxy, black particles in faucet and shower water, inefficient design of rooms, high electric bills, rude maintenance personnel smoking cigarettes in my apt, floor on second story not leveled, mold in the attic. $100 in ludicrous damage charges and no deposit refund. Apartment was advertised as having a dishwasher but did not. Wouldn't even let me pay to install one. Bottom line: do not rent with c bar

While the property's exterior leaves much to be desired (trash in the yard, questionable people roaming in parking lot at night) the management company was amazing. Every time we called because something was broken they were there within the next hour or at the latest the next day. What was the most amazing was that we received $225 of our $300 deposit back! It was a great experience except for the location.
