Tiger Home Inspection was initially founded in 1990 by Joseph E. Rizzo and Carl Pucci. Mr. Rizzo retired in 2003 and Mr. Pucci retired in 2008. Mr. Rizzo's sons, Sean and Jay, continue the family tradition as the owners of the company. Tiger Home Inspection has since grown to be the largest independent home inspection company in New England.

Sean B. Rizzo, Principal, Director of Marketing, is the second generation in the family business. He previously served as Vice President of Business Development, and originally as a licensed lead paint inspector. Prior to joining the family business in 1990, he obtained a degree in economics from the University of Connecticut.
As well as their vast education and experience in different trades, our home inspectors must undergo Tigers intensive educational process conducted by Tiger Home Inspection. Our home inspectors are trained, field supervised and educated by experienced managers who monitor quality at all times.

I highly recommend - WALTER ALMEIDA at Tiger Home inspection. He is extremely thorough, extremely smart, and extremely great at communicating what he sees. We had a great experience with our home inspector. He was very thorough, took the time to explain everything to me and talk through any issues and potential outcomes. The inspector was extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond even my HIGH expectations by going into a crawl space that I would have never expected him to. The report was even more detailed than the walkthrough and helped us really understand the condition of the house. The inspector didn't miss a single item and made sure to explain in detail everything that he saw, in the report with pictures attached. We will 100% be recommending

After filling out the contact information online we got a very speedy response and was able to get a home inspection within the week.
Our inspector Ralph was very helpful, knowledgeable, and respectful. He answered all the questions we had and was very honest, friendly, and knowledgeable. As first time home owners he offered us lots of advice which we really appreciated. Our report was emailed to us later the same day with lots of pictures and comments regarding things that require our attention. Would highly recommend Ralph and Tiger Home Inspection!

John showed up early and got started right away. He walked me through his inspection section by section and explained what he was looking for and why. He was thorough, knowledgeable, nice and pleasant to work with.
I respect that he paused throughout the inspection to write up notes on his computer and start to put together his report piece by piece as different tasks were accomplished. It made me feel that I was getting all the information right away and nothing would be forgotten by waiting.
At the end of the inspection he offered his personal contact information should we have any questions

I reached out to Tiger inspection to get my new home inspected and they were nothing short of amazing every step of the way. The woman I spoke to provided me with multiple days and times available for them to get out to me. They are open 7 days a week until 10 at night most days I believe. I confirmed a date with my realtor and then booked it with them. They came out and inspected my home on a Sunday, not sure if most places do this but either way it was extremely helpful that they are available 7 days a week. Jack Foley was the gentleman that came to inspect my house and he was extremely professional

Superb job done by Frank at Tiger Home! He showed up well before our scheduled inspection time (I know because I showed up early too) and was not only patient but also explained everything clearly in layman terms. The report I received the same day was very detailed and laid out everything that we discussed during the inspection. Would recommend Frank to any of my friends or family members!

I filled out the online form and got a call back shortly after doing so. The woman I spoke with was professional and efficient in scheduling my inspection. My inspector, Paul, impressed me very much. He was there early already looking around when I arrived. Right away I felt comfortable, it was easy to see that he was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. He pointed out the smallest of issues that need to be addressed. Aside from his professionalism he was very personable. I highly recommend Tiger Home Inspection. You will have piece of mind in your decision to purchase a home.

Nico was great. He took his time and when I had questions (new homeowner, so lots of questions) he was patient and explained it all to me. I appreciated his care and thoroughness. He stopped and wrote concise notes after each section of the house and I never once felt rushed. He made sure that when testing water pressure etc that he cleaned up any spray on the counter, and I thought that was really thoughtful. Great experience all around. Donna in the office was also very helpful and kind during the booking process.
