At Ages in Stages Childcare we provide a home away from home. We teach and care for your child as if they were family. Our low turn over rate both with children and staff can ensure that your child can grow and develop in a familiar environment. We do not discriminate against anyone based on race, color, gender, national origin or sexual orientation.
We teach everything to prepare a child for school and life. Everyday we teach colors, numbers, shapes, letters, how to write their name, respect, manners, and how to be an independent person. Once you sign your child up for our school we have an open door policy where we welcome and encourage parents to come to us with any questions about the development of your child and how we can work together to make your child be the best they can be.

Our infant program is based on the belief that infants need consistent love, attention, praise, concern, and care. We maintain a commitment to the physical, emotional, social and intellectual growth of each child. At Ages In Stages, we know that every child has individual needs. That's why we talk, cuddle, clap, and do everything possible to bond with your baby to develop a sense of trust.

My daughter went to this center from the time she was about 2 & 1/2 until she was 4 and within that time she grew so much and learned a lot. The teachers are all great, very communicative and trustworthy. I liked how structured their classes were for the different age groups. I love this daycare and would 100% recommend.

Ages in Stages in Des Moines is a wonderful child care center. My 4 year old daughter really likes the staff and her teacher Ms. Gabby. Everyone is very friendly and helpful with answering question. When we were looking into getting her enrolled in Ages in stages Des Moines the office staff (Ms. Alexa and Ms. Julie) were very quick to respond to my question and scheduled us for a tour of the school.

I have been taking my daughter to Ages in Stages since she was about 6 months old, she is now 5. The staff is always attentive and professional. They took my daughters safety very seriously when it came to ensuring only the people I allowed picked her up. Very understanding and nurturing staff. Would and do highly recommend this childcare center.

My daughter (5) started at Ages in Stages when she was 3 months old, we’ve since had two boys (3 and 1) who also go there. We have loved every one of their teachers. The staff is very responsive to any questions or concerns that I have had. I have been furloughed twice during the pandemic and kept my kids home. The teachers sent home worksheets to keep the kids involved and help me out. They are very caring and supportive. I have always felt that my children are safe and happy in their care. The kids have fun, but also have structure and a great preschool/pre-k curriculum. We plan to stay until

My daughter did drop ins, and was always well taken care of when she stopped by. The baby room is clean and well maintained. The owner goes above and beyond to work with staff to make sure children are in a learning environment. I seen the owner on her knees making sure her center is clean. The teachers always make sure to get to know your child individual needs.

Amazing teachers and atmosphere! The teachers have showed my children the most love and nurture I could have ever asked for! My daughter has learned SO MUCH in Ms. Kelly’s class! This is the perfect home away from home for my children and I feel at complete peace when they are here!

I brought both my kids to the Des Moines center for several years. I always felt comfortable dropping my kids off and that the employees understood the needs of the kids, both infant and toddler. They were so great, basically potty trained my eldest, I barely had to do anything. 🤣 I love how there are multiple family members working together. I was always comfortable bringing up an concerns I had and they were addressed quickly and with compassion.

This daycare opened about 5 years ago and my grandson was the first one there and we loved the teachers so much and the way they interacted with the children. Then when his sister was born she was going there from the time she was 3 months old until this year (she is 5 and in kindergarten now). But she still wants to go over and say hi to everyone when she is able and give everyone hugs. Julie in the baby room was so good with the babies. She was sad when my granddaughter had to move to the next room but she made it a point to go and say hi to her everyday. I love everyone there so much that I
