Please be aware that certain insurance companies do not cover contact lenses and there may be an additional charge for evaluation and fitting of lenses. Our staff may be able to determine whether your insurance covers contacts. Refractions (the measurement of eyeglass prescriptions) are not covered by Medicare; therefore, payment of refractions is expected from the patient.

Don't waste your time!!! I was due for new glasses. It had been a year since my last exam. Normally, I go to Triangle Eye Care on Poyner Place but since they changed their hours, my work hours conflicted. I thought Sohi would be the next best thing. They were even around the corner from my home. Don't get me wrong, the ladies in their were nice. I will give them that. Dr. Sohi was nice but I did feel rushed. That was the shortest eye exam I ever had. When it was time for me to put in my trial contacts, they didn't even have soap for me to wash my hands. I had to say something for

Do not go here! These are the most unprofessional staff you can find! The glasses are overpriced for certain brands and the selection is not comparable to other facilities like LensCrafters. I went in and saw Dr. Sohi, he was fine. However his front desk staff are rude. I called and asked for him to return a call in reference to a recommendation he gave me during my appointment. With no callback, I asked in follow-up the next day when I should expect a call. I was told "he's still working on that". I then followed with "May I have an expected time-frame for a returned call?

I don't wear glasses, but my wife does and we have been to more than a few places in North Raleigh for glasses. Nearly all of them either had a terrible selection or were simply incompetent. Sohi is very different.
They have an excellent selection, the ability to custom order, and they do all the fitting/exams and all that right there on sight. So far, we've gotten to pairs of glasses from them and one pair of sunglasses - everything has been great.
We'll be back for as long as we're in Raleigh.
