Routine eye exams are important, regardless of your age or physical health. During a complete eye exam, your eye doctor will not only determine your prescription for eyeglasses or contact lenses, but will also check your eyes for common eye diseases, assess how your eyes work together as a team and evaluate your eyes as an indicator of your overall health.
Dry eye syndrome (DES) is a chronic condition that develops when your eyes do not produce and maintain enough tears to keep the eye's surface lubricated resulting in multiple symptoms that range from person to person. The effects can range from minor dryness and discomfort to pain, blurred vision and frequent infections.
Advancements in contact lens technology offer the potential of successful contact lens wear to most of our patients. A contact lens is a medical device in contact with the tissues of your eye; therefore, it must fit appropriately to maintain the health of your eyes. A contact lens prescription can only be determined by the careful observation of the lens on the eye and the eye's response to the lens on follow-up visits.

The eye doctor herself was fantastic, she explained everything very well. I truly would give this place a 5 star only because of her, but there are a few things about this place that limits me from doing such. There is a major lack of frames to pick from, with insurance you are limited to either really cheap frames, or you're coming out of your pocket for frames, there is really no in between. Also be weary because I am now going on my third week of waiting for my glasses to come in, with no promises of them being in by the forth week. I understand things happen, but I get no update or anything

Really disappointed that the staff including the office manager do not have respect for their patients/customers time or lives.
I had a good experience until I had driven to Walmart to buy contacts and contacted the office so they could fax my prescription. The receptionist informed me that my prescription was not valid because my insurance did not approve payment for my contact fitting. I explained to her that I had already received my prescription weeks ago and that it had been signed by the doctor. She still would not fax it over and I asked to speak with Dr. Smith since he had seen me last

I had been having some trouble seeing up close and also from far distances. I knew I needed to find an eye doctor quick. It had gotten to the point of reoccurring headaches. So to make a long story short (some-what) , I had Medicaid due to my husband losing his job earlier this month. I called SIX different offices before Dr Smith's stated they would be happy to get me in for an appointment. After four or five office calls to surrounding eye care facilities, I began to feel ashamed and embarrassed. It really hurt to know that just because our little family (husband and two children) and I had hit
