Dr. Reshma Amin (formerly Reshma Adhvaryu) is the local eye doctor to see for all of your Optometry needs in Baton Rouge, LA. Dr. Amin is a Baton Rouge native and graduate from Baton Rouge Magnet High School and Louisiana State University where she received her BS in Microbiology. She then received her doctorate in Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL in 2002.

Eye infections occur when harmful microorganisms - bacteria, fungi and viruses - invade any part of the eyeball or surrounding area. This includes the clear front surface of the eye (cornea) and the thin, moist membrane lining the outer eye and inner eyelids (conjunctiva). Fortunately, most common bacterial eye infections clear up, particularly with prompt treatment such as prescription antibiotic eye drops or ointments and compresses.

Love getting frames or contacts from here! I first met Dr. Amin years ago, and since I've been back in Louisiana I wanted to find someone I know to look at my eyes and she was the first person I thought of. Same great quality service from her and her staff are great! Can't complain about anything at all.

Dr. Amin was incredibly professional and informative about every detail of the appointment. Tracey guided me to pick out the perfect pair of glasses that fit comfortably and matched the look that I was going for. Dr. A is a very good doctor. I have been seeing Dr.A over 5 years, but Tracy as her employee is very (UNPROFESSIONAL) person and I would never go back there again. I money is good else where’s and I’m not bout to let no one in salt me. Dr. A needs to get her front desk under control because they’re running a lot of your patients away.

I couldn’t speak more highly of this office. The staff are kind, courteous, and very professional. Everything done was explained clearly during my thorough eye exam by Dr. Amin. She took the time to make sure I understood my eye condition/diagnosis so that I could improve my overall eye health. The team there work together well to make sure that your eye health needs are met from the start of your appointment to the end. They have a great frame selection too. The office itself is beautiful and very clean. Great experience!

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I made an investment in more expensive eyewear this time and was not disappointed. Dr. Amin's prescription was precision-accurate. Even good glasses take getting used to, but when I put on both pair of glasses for the first time, not only did they fit well, the visuals were extremely comfortable. Highly recommend. Tracy is quite helpful and professional in frame selection. She knows what will work best for her customers.

Dr Amin is wonderful. She takes great care with the exam and makes sure you get the best care. Tracy is amazing also. She helped me find the perfect glasses. She knew that I hadn't found "the ones", and asked me to hold off for a week because she had new frames coming in that she thought I would like. When I returned, she had ear marked the perfect pair in that batch. She was more concerned about finding a pair I loved than talking me into something I was ok with.... LOVE Trio!!!!
