Services
Dr Cynthia Baker is a graduate of the Southern College of Optometry. We offer comprehensive vision and eye-health examinations for the whole family, as well as contact lens fittings. In addition, we provide referral services for laser vision correction and post-operative follow-up care. Your eyesight is precious and regular eye checkups are an important part of preventative healthcare.
Our optometrists are passionate about Optometry and developing specialized treatment plans to best fit their patient's needs. Our doctors specialize in the treatment of Glaucoma, Dry Eyes, Diabetic eye exams, eye infections, foreign body removal, contact lens fittings, & glasses for patients of all ages.
At Louisiana Eye Care, we take pride in caring for our patients, and that starts with having a great staff. Our friendly team members are excited about their careers in the optometry field, and even more excited to serve you! Our team members are consistently furthering their education and gaining knowledge in all aspects of the field.
We believe strongly in giving back to the community and caring for the eyes of all those in need. Outreach programs represent an opportunity to show the community the level of commitment our optometrists have to their community. The staff also plays an important role in community outreach. Our office participates in the Infant See as well as other charitable services.

Our son recently sustained an eye injury at work. This happened late afternoon on a Friday. I called this office and their staff was most helpful! They were gracious, kind, and compassionate. Caring for him required them to stay after hours, yet they were pleasant and patient. As a result of God's provision and protection and the prompt and professional care that he received from this staff, his needs were met and his eye has been healed. Our family highly recommends this office as, unfortunately, this level of care cannot be found just anywhere. You have our deepest gratitude.

Dr. DiCarlo and her staff were super friendly and took great care of me! Very nice office with the latest technology - I was able to get my updated prescription without needing to have my eyes dilated. I get nervous with anything eye related, but they made me comfortable throughout the appointment - will definitely be back to see them in the future!

Dr Baker is an excellent Dr. Louisiana eye are has taken care of our family fo years and we strongly recommend them!! When my Dr lost her glasses, and our insurance would not approve another pair for 8 more months, they let my 14 year old daughter choose from a select group of frames, and got her a new pair of glasses lenses and everything for $100. They completely exceeded our expectations every time we go there!

Had an appointment with Dr. Megan Fisher and she was great. No problems. My issue is with the optical center. Chose a pair with comfortable nose pads. Was told if at any time I need they can order more pads. A few months later the nose pads came off. Went in and the woman ordered some. When they came in I went and she put them on. A few months later the pads came off so I went in and she put new ones on. A few months later, for the third time, the pads came off again. I went in and the woman said she didn’t have any and wouldn’t order any. She turned her back on me and refused to answer any

My experience at Louisiana Eye Care was amazing! My eye exam with Dr. DiCarlo was quick and super easy! She knew just what I needed to help get me through these long days studying on a computer!! Also, Chelsea, Debbie and Hailey helped me pick out the perfect pair of glasses. I am a very indecisive person so I loved that they gave me their opinion on each pair of glasses I tried on! I can’t wait for my glasses to come in!
