Had a leak in my apartment steady for 8 months with periodic ceiling collapse for two years. I had 2 liters of the above tenants shower water coming in my apartment every day. My personal items were destroyed and lots of money wasted on washing linens. When they came to fix the ceiling every two weeks, more items were destroyed with paint. I eventually had to take off work on the days they came to supervise them to ensure no more paint on my furniture, floors, mirrors, other belongings, etc. Lots of gnats from the moldy water. I was 2 weeks late on rent one time due to a death in the family which

I have been renting from Pine at 112 West 80th for nearly two years. Aida in the rental/sales area was totally professional and helpful. Building management (specifically the repairs area) recently adopted one of my recommendations and purchased a new machine for the porter to properly clean the common area floors so as to keep these areas neat, clean, and sanitary! While it took a while for the repairs area to listen to and agree with me, they eventually came around!

I am on my 4th year living under Pine Management. I feel so taken care of. When I need something, Jay will make it happen! He never fails. When Stanley and Eduardo come to my apartment to do maintenance requests, we literally get chatting like old friends. They take their time and make sure that any issue is truly resolved. In the past, I have lived in apartments that seemed like I found a gem, but quickly I was mistaken with ignored emails, attitude problems, cold water, no heat, etc. It was so disheartening. Since I have moved into a Pine Management apartment, that hasn't been the case once,

I love my apartment, it was recently renovated and everything words great and it doesn't seem like they just picked the cheapest materials. however, I've been trying to reach someone on the management team for sublease information for over 2 weeks and haven't been able to get in contact with anyone despite multiple emails to multiple people.

Avoid @ All Costs!!!!
It really is not worth the hassle renting any building managed by this company... they are owner-managers and it is a brother duo who don’t deal straight. Google them, and then speak to the long term (4 years or more) tenants in any building you are considering before deciding for yourself... They will spy on you (guaranteed), they will provide inadequate services (esp if they won’t get caught by the city), you will spend so much time hassling them to live up to bare minimum responsibilities that in the end you will be robbed of the peace you should have at home.

I was a tenant of Pine for three years on 80th street with a spotless record, rent was always paid in full on the 1st of each month and the only calls I made to management were about minor fixes needed around the apartment. I was so pleased with my apartment, location, etc... that I actually referred one of my friends to Pine to fill my soon-to-be-vacant apartment after my GF and I decided to move in together - no doubt saving them thousands of dollars on listing and broker fees.

Terrible communication and unresponsive management. Trying to speak with their management team is almost mission impossible. Karen Obamas was somewhat responsive, unfortunately she doesn't work at Pine Management anymore. Stay away from this company, we did everything with them by the book, we where exemplary tenants and we left behind a pristine unit when we vacated it for the new tenant. Unfortunately we feel cheated by them! It's been 3 months of chasing them for the return money of our security deposit, and nothing, zero, nada - no response to emails, no response to phone calls, nothing. Whenever

Pine Management was a refreshingly friendly and professional property management company. During my time in their Manhattan Avenue property they were very responsive to maintenance requests, even if the issue required bringing in someone beyond their full-time staff. Additionally, they were proactive about lease violations, like people playing music at night or smoking in the building. I would rent from them again without hesitation.

Great management company! Only giving a star less because they asked to be let into my apartment numerous times, for such strange things! They were respectful though, and made sure they only came during times I was home and available. The employees were nice and always answered my emails within two hours of sending. Always answered my questions, no matter how silly, and made my entire move out process seamless! I got my security deposit back in no time! If you're looking at an apartment under their management, go for it! You won't regret it!

Pine has been a great management company in the year I've lived on the UWS. They are prompt, responsive, and responsible when it comes to repairs and any other tenant issues. Karen has especially been thoughtful and considerate with requests, move-in and move-out inquiries! The company's buildings are clean and well-maintained.

I was at a studio with Pine for an entire year until the landlords forced me to move out by raising by rent a THOUSAND dollars. It's really inconvenient to move in NYC.
Be careful if they give you a rent preferential unit for a very affordable price because they will rack it up and you'll have to spend all the fees to move out again.
That being said, I love Karen from Pine management. She is always so lovely. This management company is responsive - every time I have a problem they will send a super to come look at it. But I did have a persisting bug problem and they never did anything

My husband and I learned about pine management from our broker Ahmad almost a year ago. Service is good for the most part employees on site are professional and care about the tenants. For us, things have become out of sorts as we attempt to renew our lease or choose some place else. After the one year period preferential rent was revoked and the price was raised above 3200 dollars. Senior managers sent word to onsite managers that there was no wiggle room, the apartment was recently remodeled and therefore the price was firm. Again, I reached out to senior management who put his middle managers

I moved in October 2017 and have been very pleased with their level of attentiveness with repairs and concerns. I always get an email response within the hour, and repairs are usually within 24 hours. Karen and Joel are very helpful, and the maintenance guy, Louis, is so friendly and very thorough in his work! Curtis is also very very sweet and always says good morning and we have little friendly conversations when we see each other. I'm really impressed and have never had such a helpful, competent and responsive management company - it's very rare here in NYC! At this point, if

I'm writing a review after a very positive experience with the maintenance team at Pine Management. We alerted the staff to two issues/tasks and they were both resolved within 24 hours! The service was professional and efficient, and impressively timely! The gentleman who unclogged our tub drain even went above and beyond to clean our tub. Amazing service.

I am a long time tenant in a Pine Management building. I've had a few issues lately where I needed their help; plumbing and fixing a window because a bird crashed into it. Daniel Robles in the office, responded quickly and dispatched people to my apartment and they solved the problems. I'd also like to express my appreciation for one of the Pine associates - Habib, he also solves problems and is a great guy.

Getting a response to a question or maintenance requires no fewer than four calls. We have no super in the neighborhood, They are under criminal investigation for harassment of long time tenants, fined for renting empty apartments as hotel rooms. Once left hanging for six weeks in the summer without a refrigerator. Bathroom ceiling has fallen in slightly less than a dozen times, destroying belongings and giving me the sneaking suspicion that it was not accidental. Either I am the only tenant with problems or some of these comments are suspect. This is the landlord that was cited for tearing

We had an incredibly positive experience with Pine Management while we were tenants, largely due to the efforts of Karen and the Pine Management team. Whenever we had a problem, there was someone immediately there to fix it whether it be with a lock or a drain. Karen was always willing to help us with any issue at any time. In addition, our apartment was beautifully renovated with all new appliances and a great new window. We would definitely recommend Pine Management to anyone who is looking for reliable and thoughtful management.

This management company is the most inconsistent and unprofessional company to have to deal with residing in NYC. Their response time to urgent questions takes days, if not multiple phone calls AND emails. We had a stove "replaced" after an extreme gas leak that involved calling the fire department in distress, and the "new stove" is STILL faulty and refuses to light every time without fail. The company has done little to replace the toilet that never flushes. Maintenance would often do work on a roof level BEDROOM window, without notifying, therefore invading privacy, and continued

The only time they'll give a sh*t about fixing things in their apartments is if the apartment has been vacated and they fix it up for some other dupe so they can raise the rent by $2000. I asked for them to fix a crack in my bathroom floor (probably the same floor that had been in the apartment since it was built in 1929). They came in and threw a glop of cement on the floor. That's how they fixed it.
