My husband and I went in for dinner, we sat at the bar. The bartender was super friendly. We started with an order of their spring rolls. We asked if we could mix them and they said yes so we had 2 pork and 2 veggie. I didn't try the pork but my husband said they were good, as were the veggie! We split an order of the General Tso chicken and fried rice. We very much enjoyed everything we tried!

Hey it's the pandemic and eating anything and anywhere is odd.. mask on mask off , indoor or outdoor . I am just great full that Boardwok is open and serving. The takeout is good and choices is plenty . We did take out it was good . Crab cake was good and so was standard. I do like the paper products the take out came in , no plastic - Mother Earth thanks you :)

Do not go to this place. Owner manager is extremely nasty. When asking her (as she walked out if the restaurant to her car) how to order, she curtly told us the READ THE MENU on the door and call in an order. After standing outside for a while trying to place an order (their one employee was on the single phone line taking orders) the line was always busy. I poked my head in the door and said I could not get through and asked if she could take my order. Her yelled response was NO AND GET OUT. I hope they do not survive. Next time try a bit if courtesy. Anyhow just down the street some very professional

I judge a chinese restaurant by their egg rolls. These are egg rolls! Hearty, crisp and delicious. Well done. I ordered chicken fried rice and shrimp lo mein for dinner. Nothing taste so good after a full day kiteboarding on the sound. She offered me some hot mustard for my food........it was almost like wasabi...but it was chinese mustard sauce. Well done. From the outside it looks like something you probably don’t want eat at. Us being the daring type we opened the door and we were greeted by a beautiful blonde waitress with a smile from cheek to cheek. The interior setting was lovely and clean . Not at all the boring bland look the tiny strip mall outside appeal provides.
We both ordered the special he got the steak medium rare and I got the Tuna Steak rare with crab. Both served with rice and salad.

Amazing find! Tucked away in a little shopping plaza. Service was friendly and efficient without ever feeling rushed. Portion sizes were reasonable - DH and I often share a meal because most places go overboard (quantity over quality?) but we each got a meal and were just a little uncomfortably full. Nonetheless, it being his birthday, we splurged the calories and got dessert. Glad we did! The key lime pie was The Best I've ever eaten! Bright flavor, not overbearing, with a little floral note? Went here Saturday evening because everything else was busy. Our party of 8 was seated quickly. We almost got up and left because there was NO A/C!! It was the hottest day of the year. The waiter was sweating profusely. I normally would have bolted but it was 8pm and I was hungry. They had good beer. The service was great. The food was awesome right down to the bleu cheese on the salad. I had a steak that was one of the best I've ever had. Everybody had a great meal. I would not go back only because of the AC but maybe this was a fluke? Maybe it was broken?

Always our first stop for dinner when we get to the outer-banks. Best crab cakes you will ever have. All lump crab, NO filler. We look forward to our favorite meal of the year!. Oh and we can't forget to talk about the panko shrimp and scallops combo appetizer (ate them before we could take a picture!)

Food was excellent service was very slow. We waited at least an hour for our dinners after we ordered and several tables who came in after us were served before us. Had two small kids with us and their meal took far too long to come out. The creamy crab soup is to die for. Would go back for the soup but not for a full meal.

My favorite place to go for Asian cuisine! We live about 45 minutes away but don't mind the drive knowing that the General Tso's chicken among other things is well worth the trip. I have been eating here (before they moved to this location) for over ten years, the owners/operators are like family. Probably my favorite restaurant ever! You really can't go wrong here

We had called this place to get take out and within the first two words I had spoke they said "ma'am we are very busy we don't have time to do this." I quickly found out they are very rude and don't seem to care for their customers. Therefore, I do not recommend this place due to the behavior of the staff.

Although the restaurant itself is very small, space-wise, the food was more than satisfactory. The crab cakes, made with lump crab meat, were especially delectable - I was unable to find a crab cake of the same quality in any other restaurant on the island; and I visited a different place every night of my 7-day visit. The atmosphere is both comfortable and intimate but didn't feel forced and the service was very good. I highly recommend Boardwok if you are looking for delicious seafood.

Had dinner and the food was great along with the service. I had the steak and my wife had the fresh grilled tuna. The steak was good but the Tuna was so fresh and good I would recommend that over anything else.
Not a lot of tables so the restaurant is never too loud or that crowded feeling. It looks like it has a nice bar although not too crowded.

Called several times no answer drove to the place we were going in for take out. Went in and the guy said be right with you, we continued to wait. 10 minutes later still waiting and was told we are very busy let me see if we are doing takeout. Then was told we are to "freaking" busy with all these tables for this so NO takeout!!
