Great sunset location and friendly staff. It gets lively and they are able to manage large groups well. We were a group of 14 and we followed a group of 20. Millers manages it flawlessly. Great walkout over the water and like many great OBX restaurants that it has its own unique structure and vibe! Food for all was wonderful from the filet mignon to shrimp and swordfish

I came here with my family to celebrate my birthday. My only complaints are due to the fact how busy they were. The parking lot was full so it took a while to find parking. But that being said, it only took 30 minutes to be seated. They were out of a lot of the food/drinks unfortunately. But the food they did bring was fantastic and it didn't take long to get the food. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back!

So , I saw some good reviews online and decided to give Millers a try. When I got there it seemed quite busy, Another good sign . Ordered the fried calamari my wife ordered the chowder both were good. For my entree I ordered the blackened Tuna. And that is when it went downhill what I received looked like the tail end and not anything like a Tuna steak it was grilled ( Not blackened like I asked for ) I asked for medium cooked and because of its shape ( think toblerone ) one end was just well done and the other end overcooked and dry. And it was smothered in a overly sweet teriyaki.

We went there to celebrate our anniversary and although they did mess up my steak twice (it was rare both times so i ended up not eating) they went out of their way to try to correct the situation and offered me a free dessert for the inconvenience. Even despite this, the restaurant was beautiful 😍 The man playing the guitar and singing that night (9/19/21) was amazing and made the time there enjoyable even without getting a meal. I would definitely try Miller's again, i just won't order the steak 😂 I also would recommend having Corona! The beer pictured was the closest I could get to a Corona

Perfect location for drinks, dinner and a sunset. Situated on the sound side, Miller's has a large inside seating area, a separate bar, outside patio, dock, and rooftop open air seating. This place has a great vibe. The food choices are diverse enough to make anyone happy. Their speciality of course is the seafood but I opted for a NY strip. But first for starters we got the crab dip. I didn't much care for it. The crab taste was off. My steak was cooked perfect to my order. It was touch a bit tough. Probably a choice cut. No biggie. I had masked red potatoes and mixed veggies

Great outdoor seating area! Right on the sound with a beautiful view, the food was delicious and for how busy they were The waiting time wasn’t terrible because they have so much space for seating! I got the Miller’s signature salad with crabcakes and an app or all spritz and my husband got the shrimp basket, both were delicious

We were in OBX with friends for one night and chose to stop here for dinner. In hindsight, we would’ve been better off going somewhere else, but we made the most of it. When we arrived around 5pm-ish, we were told it’d be an hour long wait, but we could wait around back where there was live music, a mini bar, and the option to order appetizers. We took them up on this and it ended up being the best part of the evening. There were several areas to sit right along the water, a boardwalk, live jams in the corner, and plenty of waitresses to take our orders. Our apps arrived timely and we enjoyed

The seafood entrees were so fresh tasting and delicious. The drinks were well made, and waitress was a sweetie pie! The sides were bland tho. The desserts were delicious, I had the pecan pie and my daughter had the coconut cake. Get the coconut cake. I had the sea scallops topped with crab, delightful. My kids got crab legs and shrimp. We also got fried fish, cheese curds(eh), oysters Rockefeller(the best),and crab dip for two. So good.

I would give less stars if we didn't eat everything because we were starving but the first straw was the hush puppies. They were cold and upon inspection, there was a hair breaded INSIDE the hush puppies (see picture).
There was also a giant long hair inside the tiny $18 lobster roll my husband ordered. Absolutely disgusting.
We told the waitress, showed her the hush puppy and she wasn't concerned, so maybe you as a Yelp review surfer will be.

This is a nice restaurant, but I'll add a couple of "asterisks" to my positive experience. First, at peak season, expect a long wait for dinner; like two hours long. Second, the parking lot is kind of a mess; people park everywhere and I bet the local auto body shop has coupons to send people over here😀. Once we finally got in, the atmosphere is great. The view of the Sound is really nice. All the seafood we had was very good; my wife's NY strip steak was a disappointment; not well trimmed; lot of fat. Service, once we got in, was good and they were very busy. Our waitress was very friendly

Excellent evening at Miller's restaurant....very busy so around 45 min wait to be seated so spent some time enjoying the view from the back porch (amazing!).
Traditional seafood options...all were quite good. Would have been nice to get two lobster rolls as it was a bit small considering the other dishes. Overall would recommend!

One of the things I Iove most about the outer banks is the abundance of locally owned restaurants. Miller's Waterfront is no exception - locally owned and operated by generations of Miller's, this is the place to go if you want fresh seafood, a varied menu, and dining with a view
We started with the she crab soup and the wedge salad. The soup is creamy and chocked full of crab - delicious. The wedge salad is what you would expect if you like it, and I do. Then we had an steamed shrimp appetizer. You can get it spicy or non spicy, I ordered the spicy version. I didn't find it spicy

Good view, hectic environment, so-so food.
The dining area over this passed summer was too crowded for my comfort, but I didn't realize this until I was seated after a 30 minute wait. Not sure what the seating will be like next season so it's worth it to inquire. There also seemed to be only one ladies room with 2 stalls, so the line was long and there wasn't a good place to stand that wasn't in the way of servers and other guests. Service was no nonsense, servers were too busy to chat but were still nice.
She Crab soup was good. The shrimp entree and burger we ordered forgettable

This restaurant opened in 1982 and has been around for a long time. I wouldn't call it upscale but has great views of the bay, an upstairs open air bar, lower bar and outdoor seating. The pier is open to boaters wanting to stop in for lunch or dinner. The waitress was very attentive and helpful.
We had a party of 6 and sat outside. The dining area has comfortable seating and covered umbrellas.
We ordered :
Appetizer: 6 Fried green tomatoes with a yummy aioli sauce on a bed of greens and corn and crumbled goat cheese. They were fried perfectly and the sauce was really good. The whole
