Due to overwhelming demand in services, we have made the hard decision to only accept existing clients for visits at this time. Our lobby is open to the public and we are allowing one companion per pet while waiting for an appointment. Please note that should the lobby become full, or should you prefer, all clients have the option to wait in their vehicle.
Masks are not required at this time. We look forward to serving you and your pet with the best possible veterinary care. We utilize the most current standards of care, and we specialize in providing comprehensive wellness care to keep your pet healthy now and in the future. We have found the key to quality veterinary care is a combination of medical competence, empathy for pet owners and compassion for our animal companions.

Services
At Lowell Animal Hospital, we believe that your pet is a part of the family, yours and ours. That is why we have made it our mission to provide comprehensive and compassionate veterinary care that is in the best interests of you and your furriest family member. If you are in the Lowell area, and are looking for a caring veterinary team to help make sure your pet remains in good health, we are nearby and ready to help.
Since 2017, the veterinarians and support staff at Lowell Animal Hospital have sought to achieve the highest standards of veterinary medicine. We feel that cats are part of the family, yours and ours. Our clients' response to the care we provide is the strongest testament to the quality of care we provide for their cats.
Getting a new kitten is a very special experience with lots of joy, warmth and laughter. There is a reason why the internet is so full of kitten and cat pictures and videos. Kittens are super fun, loving and entertaining. Kitten care does involve some amount of hands-on attention from human family members.
If you have lived with your cat since it was young then you have a good understanding of what is normal for your cat in the way of behavior and habits. Any changes in their behavior or habits can be a sign of illness. Because signs of illness in cats can be so subtle, even the most astute owner may miss some of these changes especially when the onset is so gradual.
There may be a time when your cat will require a procedure or surgery for his continued health. At the time of surgery your cat will require anesthesia which will be carefully administered and monitored by our veterinary staff. Knowing the basics about how anesthesia will be is used in cat surgery and the recovery basics will help to ease your mind while kitty is under our care.

This place is a joke they wouldn't let me make an appointment to get my dog checked out they are walk in only but make sure your their 90 minutes before they close or they will turn u away. Don't try and go in 80 minutes before they close like I did. I will not return I will not try and bring my animals here again. Your 10 minutes cost you a lifetime loss of a customer!!!!

I have so many wonderful things to say about Loewll Animal hosp.🤩 I'll try to stick to the important points. #1 they made it easy for me to bring my big dog in. we checked in from the parking lot, then when her room was ready they let us know and she got right in. #2(equally to #1) The staff was friendly kind and gentle. #3 the rooms were very clean #4 prices were beyond reasonable. #5 they didn't try to over sell me on my thing.. they took care of her immediate issues and she was showing improvement within a few days.. I can't wait to take her in for her check up. 😍 GREAT PLACE!!!

Absolutely amazing, my German Shepard is pretty aggressive. And oh boy what a strong dog. The staff tried their best to work with him without mommy in another room. But, he wasn't gonna have that. So, because my best friend has a terrible skin condition they really tried to get done what needed to be. We were both treated with respect and the vet was great. She gave me a few meds for him. The assistant said he should be getting better within a few days to a week. It was a hike but worth it. We'll be going back in a week just to see how far he's gotten with the 4 yes 4 meds he has to take daily

Love this vet. Great friendly staff and great prices. Being walk in helps so much with a busy schedule and we are so happy to be clients with them. My dog has a cytology done her and they get her in a week later when they found out it was mass cell cancer. They helped with all of the recovery and never seem annoyed to answer any questions we may have about little things. My dogs get excited to go to the vet which is new for them. The place is always clean and it’s a beautiful facility.

Lowell animal hospital has been wonderful in treating our cat and in the recent parting of our beloved dog. They truly care about evwry animal and animal parent. I can't say enough about how wonderful they are. Finally as someone that has a farm cost is always a huge factor. Lowell animal hospital is the most reasonable and best price for over exceptional care of your fur babies.

Our Kitty had a seizure we brought her to lowell animal hospital. The staff couldn't have been more attentive. Kitty made a mess in her carrier they helped us clean her up and even cleaned out the carrier. Our vet Dr. B was fantastic she immediately put us at ease , explained everything in detail and what we needed to look for for future treatments. Overall a good experience, at a reasonable price.

I have gone into Lowell Animal Hospital multiple times for different occasions. Every time I have brought my 2 German Shepherds there for annual shots they act like they don't actually care about the well being of the animals. They give the shots, take your money and you're done.
My female got spayed from them, a couple days later she was bleeding… from her incision. I brought her in HOURS before they closed. They refused to help me and sent me to Crown Point Animal Urgent Care.
2nd time, My male had a large cut in his ear. He was bleeding like crazy. I brought him in again HOURS before

The staff is so caring and made sure they used all the resources available to assist me when my Skye was diagnosed with lymphoma. They even gave us the referral to Purdue where she went through chemotherapy and I couldn't be happier with their level of care. The staff are truly amazing and I will always come here with any and all of my fur babies!

Today was the first day we tried Lowell Animal Hospital and I would highly recommend this place. Everyone was so friendly and Dr. Lopez explained everything to my wife. If anyone knows my dog she is terrified about going to the vet and when she went there this morning my wife and I could not believe how calm she was and cooperative inside. We are definitely going to make Lowell Animal Clinic our vet for our dog!
