I went to have my dog looked at last week for some lumps I found on her. The vet wanted me to spend a ton of money and used the vet tech to try and pressure me into unnecessary procedures. The whole visit was about how I could spend money and I felt as if I were at a used car lot. The vet and vet tech seemed to care very little about my dogs health and focused instead on how I could hand over every dime they could get out of me. I came to the vet because I was scared that there was something very wrong with my dog. I left and didn’t buy into the high pressure tactics. I had my dog seen yesterday

First time visit to this clinic with our 11+ yr old pup and Lake Station Pet Clinic was AWESOME!!! Our girl was rather nervous, but the Vet (Dr. Barenie) and the 2 vet techs were very comforting to her... we totally appreciated the TLC given to our pup :) Also, pricing was very fair...

Sadly it was sold to a corporation...that special touch is gone ...
As a breeder I ask nothing..but maybe make it easier to make appointments...as not just one pet ...but many ...
That I would think oh ...he's going to bring some more income than others...and word of mouth ...for the thousands people that they might know...
The staffing is new ...so I thinking there is no training for them so they go by the seat of thier pants...from one that was shown but never trained and now another new person learns the same thing...
Not a bad vet ...but it's seem to be all over the front and back are not

I have tried many of the vets in the area and I believe Lake Station Pet Clinic offers the best value and services. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They are always trying their best to make sure my pets and myself have everything we need. They even offer my pet a service free visit that involves just love and treats to make her feel more comfortable coming to their office.

I am so glad that I decided to go to Lake Station Pwt Clinic. They were very welcoming and caring. The Veterinarian and Vet Tech that saw my cat were very gentle and very thorough and took the time to examine her over and over even though she was not cooperating. They took the time to explain everything and were very caring and concerned about my cats health. Thank you so much!
