Hebron Animal Hospital was founded in the early 1980's by Dr. Herbert Hardwick. Dr Rebecca Salter, COS, purchased the hospital in 2005. Our goal is to keep pets in optimal health with preventative care individualized for each patient. We also strive to heal pets who are ill by utilizing current diagnostic tests and therapies. Pet care is a partnership between Hebron Animal Hospital and the pets owners/guardians. We therefore actively involve owners in all decisions about diagnostic and treatment options.
Services
Let Hebron Animal Hospital provide a professional veterinary exam for your kitten, puppy, cat, or dog. A physical exam is the smartest and easiest way to keep your pet healthy. Wellness exams allow our veterinarians to detect problems and diseases that might go undiscovered otherwise, including heart murmurs, tumors, enlarged organs, cataracts, ear infections, ear mites, dental disease, skin issues and allergies.
At Hebron Animal Hospital, our goal is keeping your pet happy and healthy. Thanks to modern diagnostics and our on-site laboratory, we're able to do just that for sick and injured pets. Diagnostic imaging allows us to examine your pet's internal organs and body systems to better diagnose their conditions.
Dental care is an essential part of your pet's overall health. When oral hygiene is neglected, pets can develop dental disease which negatively affects other systems in the body and may lead to tooth loss. A pet's dental health is just as important as their physical health, however, it often goes overlooked.
Hebron Animal Hospital provides veterinary surgical care and services for cats and dogs. Using state-of-the-art equipment and an experienced team, we'll provide your pet with high-quality surgery in a safe, stress-free and relaxing environment. Our team of skilled veterinarians and technicians are ready to provide your pet with a range of surgeries.
Pets can struggle with dermatological issues the same way people can. It's common for the issues to cause a variety of unpleasant symptoms that range from minor itching and discomfort to outright pain. We can diagnose and treat numerous skin conditions including allergies, autoimmune conditions, dermatitis, infections, hormonal disorders, parasites, tumors, and skin cancer.

The staff is very nice and service is fantastic. The vet doesn't make you do anything unnecessary or make you feel guilty about not doing something. I don't feel judged for not going overboard with tests and unnecessary procedures. Pricing is comparable also. I've taken a couple of different animals here. It's an old place, not very updated, but that doesn't bother me.

Just had an appointment with Dr Bruce and Staff for our fuzzybutts and Have to just say Thank You to the Hebron Animal Hospital family. They are family to us and our 6 babies.
Dr Bruce saved our chocolate lab’s legs when she diagnosed his issue and then referrals to a Fabulous ortho in Highland. He has brand new knees and is better than ever.
Everyone is super friendly, beyond caring and just awesome people and the best Vet we have ever been too.

We've been using this vet for the past 3 years and we love it!!!! Every employee in here takes pride in the job and makes you and your pet(s) feel at ease and at home. You get treats at all appointments. In my opinion this vet is the best one in town. I did have to use the other vet in Lowell for a quick appointment for my cat when we were adopting our second dog from LCAC. I had a unfavorable experience and will not make that mistake again :) I recommend Hebron Animal hospital to anyone and everyone!
