Services
Welcome to the physical therapy practice of Dr. Jake Caldwell, DPT, CFMT. At Primitive Therapy we specialize in working with complex and challenging cases through the practice of manual therapy - the art of using one's hands to heal the body. The human body and its pains are complicated and highly individualized.
In order to be able to work effectively with complex problems that often require unique approaches to therapy, we cannot work within the constraints of insurance company policies and requirements. We are an out-of-network provider for all insurance companies. This means that you pay for services at the time of service, and we provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
If you work with the body, then you work with pain. Caldwell Bodywork Academy offers continuing education courses for bodyworkers of all types, emphasizing mastery of hands-on skills for manual therapy. Caldwell Bodywork Academy teaches you to work with the pain, and become safer and more effective in your work.
Tightness and weakness. Most of us bodyworkers are completely locked into these two imbalances. We see weak glutes and tight hamstrings, weak rotator cuff muscles and tight lats. Weak abdominal stabilizers and tight low back. The list goes on. We work hard to help our patients and clients to stretch out their tightness and strengthen their weakness only to have these imbalances return the very next visit.
