We Are a One-on-One, Manual Therapy Based Clinic, Specializing in All Orthopedic Conditions and Also Treating Neurological Conditions Effecting Balance.
Below you will find some frequently asked questions of what you should expect during your first visit. The first visit is comprised of the initial evaluation. As part of this process, you will be required to fill out paperwork regarding your health history, your current health situation for which you are seeking treatment, and regarding your health insurance.

We are forever grateful for AVPT having brought us back to our full capabilities after me having two knee replacement surgeries and my husband having two spinal surgeries. We cannot rave enough about the expertise, professionalism, knowledge and caring plus a little mix of humor that Tim and Yvonne bring to each of our sessions along with their assistants.
Having graduated from the PT side, I now participate in the Pilates studio with Jen. They are challenging but enjoyable workouts. Jen brings individual attention and focus to each of her students so they can reach maximum strength and flexibility

I am so thankful for the team at Aliso Viejo Physical Therapy! They are kind, friendly and knowledgeable about the body. They took the time to educate me on what was wrong with me and taught and trained me well on the exercises that I needed to do to get stronger and feeling better again! I looked forward to my PT visits because everyone made you feel so welcome! I have recommended AVPT to multiple people. I was even introduced to the wonderful world of pilates at The Pilates Shoppe! I am so much stronger and I have less pain in my low back as a result!

I just called this physical therapy location because they take my insurance. The lady that answered the phone said they can see me but not till September 2021. I went thru my insurance to get the authorization and thought I would let her know that. This time “Catherine “was very rude to me. She said we have many patients and we’re overwhelmed and we can not see you not even in September or in a while. Her words were “ Go find another therapist to treat you. We don’t know if we will find a good new therapist or not.” She was about to cry on the phone. I told her the the authorization

I have been coming to Tim and the Pilates Shop with Jen (doing privates) for years. I have a very complex spine and pelvic injury. I have seen over 10 other PT’s and their professionalism, compassion, and expertise exceeds my expectations and outperforms other facilities. Tim’s knowledge of the body and ability to create re-education as well as using other tools (such as using Graston and ultra sound) allows him to adapt to where my body is on each visit. I came in for my first appointment yesterday. While I went into the room with the physical therapist the receptionist came in the room to tell me my prescription was expired, which was weird cause I got in mid February. I called my doctor that gave me the referral and she told me that’s impossible and it’s not expired. I told another receptionist this and she checked herself and it was not expired. After a half hour passed they tried continuing the appointment, but could only offer 20 minutes because all that time was spent trying to figure that out. I canceled my appointment because I am not

Aliso Viejo Physical Therapy is absolutely the BEST! The front desk, Olivia, is fantastic. Office Manager Liz is super. I witnessed another client treat them terribly today. The client's attitude was the problem. The physical therapists are wonderful. I recommend this business as the absolute best. If you get your physical therapy with them your body will thank you. Mine does with LESS PAIN.
