I stopped by at 12:30 today (1/21/22), with my wife so she could try on new eye glass frames. There was nobody in the shop except for the person sitting behind the desk. She came and unlocked the door and asked if we had an appointment. We didn’t, so she told us the shop was only allowing customers in by appointment only. When my wife told her that it said on the website “you are welcome to drop in anytime to browse,” she told us she didn’t think it said that, and offered to make us an appointment. Well the attached screen shot says otherwise. Sorry to bother you during your lunch time

This is by far the best eye doctor/exam situation you’re going to find. Just go here. It’s worth it. You’re going to have *fun* getting your eyes checked out here. Dr. Friberg is incredibly knowledgeable and obviously passionate about eyes but also really personable and great at explaining things to the layman such as myself.

So happy to now have our eye care with Uptown EyeCare & Optical. We have been so impressed with the responsive and professionalism. I wish I could give them 10 stars. The staff are wonderful. They have the best customer service focus I’ve ever experienced. Extremely helpful in selecting frames that are flattering and all are very caring.

I have been seeing Dr. Friberg for 12 years now. She performed my pre-and post op for my Lasik surgery 10 years ago and I continue to see her annually for my eye health and any changes that age brings. She is also our family eye Dr for my partner and our two young children. She is exceptional with her communication, professionalism and she makes it a fun and informative experience for us all. I have been recommending Uptown for years and will continue to do so.
