Before moving to Katy, Texas, Mike Taylor held the Florida State Master's Electrical License. He has worked as a Superintendent for a custom home builder. Mike is a true professional in the real estate industry and is a veteran inspector that has not let me down once in customer service towards my client or towards myself.

While the inspector was professional and courteous and timely, I was disappointed with the home inspection quality.
When we showed up early and the I Spector said he was pretty much finished with a 5,100 SQ FT home with a pool after 2 hours - I was already apprehensive.
Long story short, after we moved into the home we found major issues that had to be addressed that were not identified by the inspector. Built in refrigerator freezer was disfunctional and has to be replaced completely, the pool water line (easily visible) was leaking and had to be replaced, the built in outdoor grill was completely

This was our first time using Mike for an inspection and I was very impressed. I scheduled a few weeks out and he confirmed with me a couple days before the scheduled inspection. He is very responsive via email and phone as well. His inspection report was very thorough, easy to read, included relevant home maintenance tips in many areas, and had a great summary at the end recapping findings that categorized them into minor and major issues. Very pleased with Mike's communication, thoroughness, and report!

This inspector was very thorough and went above and beyond what I thought was included in the normal inspection. We have a lot of documentation and pictures of what is good about our new home, and also what we could do to prevent issues in the future. He was very personable and easy to work with. While at the house, I asked Mike several questions unrelated to his inspection (e.g. his opinion on the feasibility of certain potential improvements) and Mike was happy to offer his expertise. After receiving his report the same day, I called with more questions. Mike picked up right away and was again happy to dive in to some of the details of his findings. Mike was awesome to work with and I will definitely get in touch for any future purchases.

Micheal is the best inspector you can hire. I had a very bad experience with the inspector I took the first time I tried buying a house. This time around I said I will try someone new. I check reviews about KJS Inspections all I got was good. After calling 3 inspectors who all gave me very high prices, and were not willing to reduce even $1, I decided to give Micheal a call. He gave me the cheapest price I could ever imagine. I thought I didn't hear well but no he told me it is for real. He had to adjust his schedule to do my home inspection at a short notice. He gave me the report of the inspection

Mike is the absolute best! My husband and I were in the process of building our first home and were in need of an inspector to conduct our pre-dry wall and final inspections.
