I received an eye exam from Dr. Yu (I might be misspelling her name). She provided explanation regarding different parts of the exam (ex. looking for tears, eye drops that dilute the pupils, etc.), and was kind.
I submitted an online inquiry and received an email back the same day. I was able to schedule an appointment thirty (30) minutes earlier than my request time, which worked for me.
I had very little wait times. Roughly three (3) minutes to be seated and start measuring, and roughly three (3) minutes to see Dr. Yu.
I have a mild prescription; I wear my glasses very infrequently, like once

Making the appointment was hard enough because their website appointment system is inaccurate. But anyway, finally got an appointment today at 4pm and I told them when making the appointment that I have a current prescription (from March) and just needed some contacts. Gave them my insurance and everything.
The receptionist (the guy with the fabulous eyebrows) was snooty from the minute I got there. Not sure what power trip he was on, but he was also training a younger lady at the time of my visit. I showed him my prescription. He said I NEEDED to have my doctors records along with the prescription

I’ve been wearing contact lenses, glasses since I’ve been 11 I am now 30. I left today (12/29)paying for a “premium contact lense fitting” out of pocket cost me $90 rather than my usual $40 STANDARD contact lense fitting. I do not wear gas permeable contact lenses I do not wear kerataconus lenses I do not have a high prescription (always been in the -1.25-1.75 range) I do not wear multifocal or bifocal lenses or Toric lenses I’m your straight standard single vision contact lens wearer. This is the worst eye doctor I’ve ever been to. The contacts that he prescribed for for my eyes made them even worse than before. He gave me glasses that with a different prescription from the contacts he gave me. That lady doctor had a BAD attitude, she acted like she didn’t want to be bothered with. My mom knew more about contacts than the doctor did. The doctor told me not to clean my contacts before I put them in.

I almost never write reviews online but this place is amazing! Dr David helped me out with my eye exam and prescription. He explains everything and is very patient. I wasn't happy with my first pair since the frame keeps touching my cheek and falls down easily. I called here without much hope to see if I can change to another smaller frame. Dr David offered one-time frame change for free and helped me with the whole frame picking process. I am so happy with the result this time. I would def recommend this place to my friends.

My husband and I had appointments today at Distinctive Vision Care. It was a great experience. The exam was very thorough. They took time to explain things as we went along, and answered any questions we had. After the exam I was able to take the time needed, without feeling stressed, to find new frames that fit well and that I liked. They helped with that as well. I highly recommend this place.

For a doctor's office, it's amazing how dirty it was. They have nice furniture and nice decor, but if you look in the nooks and crannies, you'll see dust, dirt, dead spiders and cob/spider webs. During my last visit, I asked to use their restroom and was SHOCKED they allowed me to use it in such a filthy state. Nice doctors, but you may want to consider disinfecting after your visit.

So, there aren’t many places that I’ve been to where I feel compelled to write a Google review. But, it would be a huge injustice if the excellence at Distinctive Eye Care were not shared with the community at large. From the moment I called in and spoke with Christina, to the moment I walked out of there with my 7 year old in tow, this place epitomized outstanding client care every step of the way. I was able to get an appointment the same day, Christina was awesome, and the way Dr. Ta treated my 7 year old all throughout the process, from the actual exam to picking out frames and lenses,

Excellent customer service! Even when there were issues with my glasses they did everything possible to make it right. I love this office, they make you feel comfortable and help you understand any health concern you have. They also helped me make a decision on my glasses and contacts based on what was cheapest financially. By far the best service I have had and I have been wearing glasses/ contacts for 15 years.
