Eye To Eye Care is an innovative Irving eye care practice dedicated to excellent customer service and patient care. Dr. Vu Tran graduated from UT Dallas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2001. He had wanted to be an Eye Doctor since grade school and worked in the eye care field after college.
He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio in 2013. Following this, he successfully obtained his Therapeutic Glaucoma sub specialization. He has furthered his education with extensive and ongoing post graduate training and practices full-scope eye care with experience in the medical treatment and surgical management of eye diseases.

Doctor Tran, Vu Q is a very professional and friendly Eye Doctor. He is very knowledgeable and has patience. I asked many questions and my concerns about my eyes problem. He explains with detail and goes the extra mile to help me out. I have been looking for a good eye s doctor a long time. I found one now. I will continue to visit Doctor Tran for my eye check up and ask him for any references (specialists for othet eye issues or eye surgery). I trust him.

Went in to get a copy of my prescription so I could get the new Ray Ban stories glasses made. I was told they could not release my prescription to me since it had expired 2 weeks ago. It has only been one year since I had my eye exam here.. Most places have their eyeglass prescription valid for two years and contacts expire every year. The girl behind the counter told me that dr. Tran requires that you get your glasses prescription done every single year and they will not release your prescription unless you do. So I guess paying over $300 to get my prescription done and then being refused a copy

Dr. Tran and his staff are excellent and professional. Dr. Tran has a wonderful beside manner and was able to put my 8-year old daughter at ease even when putting her contacts in. Dr. Tran took the time to carefully explain how the contacts would help her vision overnight which put me at ease. He did not complicate things with medical jargon and spoke to us like regular people. I highly value professionals who can explain their technical craft in an easy to understand manner. This indicates to me that Dr. Tran truly does understand what he is talking about. Could not recommend more.

I absolutely love and recommend this place and the doctor too. The facility is clean and Dr. Vu Tran was extremely friendly and easy to talk to. This is now my go to optical center. He didn't charge to get the PD (Pupil Distance) either, unlike other places, nor pressure to purchase any products. I felt comfortable being there and recommend him and his business to everyone!

Took me quite some time to find a good place . And I have to say I found it, will definitely go back ! The whole staff is super nice and friendly and most importantly they listen to what you want . They made me feel so comfortable and they answered all my questions hands down it’s the best place I’ve ever gone too . I ordered contacts and glasses when in on a Friday and I had a call Thursday that it was ready for pick up didn’t wait at all to get them in . Other places take 2-3 weeks ... thanks again for all your help super happy with my selections

I have had a very hard time finding an Optometrist that I like in the area. As a physician, I admit I may have overly high standards. This, however, was a fantastic experience. There was no wait, although this actually means close to nothing to me (A good healthcare provider that takes time with patients who require more time will often run behind schedule). The staff are extremely welcoming and Dr. Tran is very knowledgable. I was able to get in quickly with small foreign objects in my eye. Dr. Tran had no problems helping me, and took his time to do a great job and make sure as little discomfort possible was had. Paperwork can be done electronically, the place is kept clean, and Covid protocols are observed. Prescriptions were simple to get as well, and they made sure to work with me on a follow up time.
