Thank you so much to Dr.Levitt for helping me clear my vision. After doing my cross-linking procedure for Keratoconus, I had terrible vision. Dr.Levitt was able to have me seeing clearly again within two months, thank to Scleral lens.
Dr.Levitt is passionate about his work and will work hard to improve your vision. The staff is also really kinda. I couldn't ask for a better doctor!

I am visiting from out of town and I called in as I am having an discomfort and would like to get my eye checked. The staff on the phone needs TRAINING. They are horrible. As soon as I stated I had insurance and they stated they did not accept; they ended the call without even asking me if I’d be willing to pay cash. I called because the reviews seemed pretty fair. I work in healthcare and I can tell you with some proper phone training your staff would excel and you’d probably see an increase in patients. Thankfully I was able to call another provider who is able to see me and take care of

I had been having issues with my eye for some time. I had gone to other eye specialists, had extensive exams, but the condition seems to be getting worse. I prayed and ask God to lead a doctor that could shed some light on the problem. I opened my benefit book and found myself circuling his name. I called and made an appointment. After visiting with Dr. Levitt and his staff, I had an extensive eye exam. It was discovered that I had a small tare in my retna in me left eye. I was immediately referred to Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. When I arrived the following week, I had to have surgery to repair

Dr. Levitt is patient and is excellent with clarifying what your expectations are as opposed to what reality is. He explains everything with such great detail and takes his time to ensure you are satisfied. Office is clean and Staff is friendly. I live only a block away but even when I move, I will continue to drive to Miami to treat with him.

Simply amazing!! I have been seeing Dr Levitt for over a decade, along with my husband and child. I would not trust my eyesight to anyone else. He is what all practitioners should be. Caring, a gentleman, professional and bed side manners the are incomparable. Him and his staff love what they do and their patients and IT SHOWS!!

I've been going to this doctor since I was in elementary school. He is a very kind and caring eye doctor. One time, I had a grain of something in my eye and it was bothering me so much I was in a near state of madness. My mom called the office and even though they were about to close Dr. Levitt waited for me to get there and got the speck (that felt like a plank) out of my eye.

Dr. Levitt is truly an amazing doctor that has great bed-side manners. He is extremely THOROUGH. He is patient and gives great service. He is obviously a doctor that cares about his patients' vision. He is a true professional in every sense of the word. I highly recommend him to all. After one visit, you'll keep going back because, you will experience it all for yourself. This is the worst doctor on the face of the earth. I had perfect 20/20 vision and then I told the doctor I was developing a slight problem seeing things at a distance. he recommended reading glasses. I'm not a doctor, but this did not seem like the proper solution. After 2 years of pain and agony with glasses that gave me nothing but a headache, I now have even worse vision. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT, go here!

I am not sure how my elderly father got the idea to go to Dr. Levitt but he insisted so we took him and his lady friend. They live in Coral Gables so it was a long haul. My father and his friend both have memory issues and very poor eyesight, walk with canes etc.

I had a really wonderful experience with Dr. Levitt. He was friendly and took great care and pleasure in answering my questions and explaining everything. I've literally never been to a doctor that had been so invested in making sure I not only got the right prescription I needed but also that I understood the choices he made in creating it. I learned so much with my last appointment and am honestly looking forward to future visits. Not only did I find that he was incredibly perceptive to minute detail but he even picked up on shifts in mood and always knew how to put me back at ease.

This review has nothing to do with Dr. Alan Levitt ' s chairside manners or how good he is as a doctor because I wouldn't know. Dr Alan Levitt came highly recommended so I scheduled an appointment for my 6 year old daughter. I was advised I would have to pay for the exams even though I have insurance since my carrier has given them issues with past claims and I agreed to their terms even though it was out of the norm. I had an excellent experience at this office. Dr. Levitt is extremely knowledgeable and he and his staff gave me a thorough examination.
