Our Story began in the summer of 2008 when we purchased a minivan and some gymnastics equipment and started Rising Starz Fitness, Inc. I began my coaching career in 1999 during my freshman year at Aquinas College. I loved kids; it was a perfect fit! I fell in love with the sport, and soon began to dream of one day starting my own gymnastics program.
During my years working in different programs, I was able to train with many great coaches, travel and had the amazing privilege of working with many great kids! The original plan was never a van and a few mats, it was a 20,000 square foot multi-sports plex that offered many different sports for kids and families.

Services
A Rising Starz membership is required for anyone participating in classes. Your Rising Starz membership provides you with priority class enrollment, discounts on special events, open gyms, and birthday parties! Membership Fees also help us to provide you with top notch teaching staff!

No parents needed for this group! 45-minute adventure of different gymnastics challenges where kids learn to gain a better understanding of their body through control, strength and flexibility. Our evening classes are located in our specialized preschool area with equipment just their size! This amazing space helps our Shining Starz stay focused, safe and provides the best possible learning experience!
Our girls Shooting Starz class is for the beginner/intermediate gymnast. These classes are 1 hour in length and cover gymnastics skills on all apparatus. In this class, our Shooting Starz will be working on learning body control, inverted awareness and all the beginning fundamentals of gymnastics to strengthen their basic skills like handstands & cartwheels.
Little Ninjas & Ninja Starz are programs for youth, based on obstacle training, parkour, free running and strength. Ninja Starz is.running, jumping, rolling, climbing, flipping, courage, focus, challenge and success in a safe and progressive environment. Our trained staff will take kids through progressions that will help them develop discipline, confidence, coordination and mental toughness.
Cancellation before 10am on the day of open gym are eligible for a credit to your account. Parents are not permitted in the gym area during open gyms. All participants must adhere to open gym rules and be able to be independent without a parent in the gym area. Please see the front desk or a coach if you need to get your child.

I know so many athletes and families who are a part of this gym. I am so impressed with the community and skills that they have built. I know this past year has been so terribly difficult for business owners and they did such a great job of trying to keep kids in the gym safely, as much as they could, with the restrictions that had been thrown at them. I have had many conversations with the owner Sarah about safety protocols and she has bent over backwards to make sure that she not only was able to keep the kids in the gym but keep them safe as well. We are very lucky to have them in our community

My daughter has been doing gymnastics for 6 1/2 years now, 4 of those years being at Rising Starz. While we have had experiences at other popular facilities, we stayed and continue to work with Rising Starz bc of their actual care and consideration for the kids they teach. My daughter was a part of 4 different competitive teams throughout the area and Rising Starz stood above the others because of the focus they placed on the kids. The owner Sarah and her coaching staff always put the kids first. My daughter was so happy at Rising Starz and learned valuable lessons about team work, sportsmanship and competition that she will carry with her through out everything she does in life. Top notch gym facility, coaching staff, safety protocols, cleanliness and communication!

My daughter has taken gymnastics here a few years, almost always in the summer. We started with the parent child class and now she goes on her own. The instructors have always been amazing with the young kids! She enjoys it and I can see how she has grown as a gymnast. It is also just a great way for her to learn how to take turns, listen to other adults, and burn up some energy! The gym is clean, and the registration process is straight-forward.

I love this place for my daughter! They offer classes for as young as 3 years old and they are independent of parent type of classes, so that was a huge bonus. The teachers there are really motivating and encouraging plus tremendously patient because attention spans of little ones that are 3 years old is about 10 seconds, but the teachers didn't seem bothered by it one bit. The instructors also assisted and encouraged all of the kids as needed during training so that everyone had a chance to experience the different gymnastics offerings.
