I REALLY do love living here . GREAT staff. No matter how many times something stop working or don’t work and you say it isn’t fixed they always don’t hesitate to come check it out or get the issue resolved quickly and efficiently. I was with a friend while she was visiting apartments in the area looking for a new place. She was helped by Jordan, who was amazing at answering all her questions and gave her any information she needed to help make her decision. My friend said out of the 5 complexes we visited, that place stuck out from the service she was given, and the amenities they offer. Definitely recommend and fingers crossed you get the great staff we did!! :)

2 Years ago I was looking for affordable housing in Grand Rapids and Found Eastland Apartments. They looked Nice, Had wonderful Amenities and were in a great location close to the woodland mall. Unfortunately however, Moving in recently has has not been a very pleasant experience.
We all know moving is stressful, but my very first night here there were people yelling and a possible domestic violence assault case occurring at 11PM at night which I could hear all the way from my back bedroom for over an hour when I had to be up for work at 5am the next morning on top of a handful of other issues

For the last four months I have had to submit a maintenance request for the A/C. The first three months it cut out because the thermostat wire is wrapped around the outside of the building and gets clipped by lawn care. The solution was to use wire nuts after each time it was run over instead of properly running it through the building. After pointing this out six weeks ago I was told they would run the wire properly and still nothing. I now have two large puddles of water accumulating in my apartment due to a "lack of charge in the AC". This was supposedly addressed, yet water is still

I would steer clear of these apartments. Why? Two reasons:
1.) The people who work for Eastland are not too keen on doing their jobs. That includes their so-called "maintenance" personnel. For example, rather than properly fixing a leaky toilet, they will use a roll of paper toweling to mop up the water, and then call it good.
2.) The owners of Eastland, MIMG (Monarch Investment and Management Group) do not give a rodent's behind about the satisfaction and well-being of the tenants. However, when you move out, you will find MIMG is very prompt at filing a bogus collection notice

This apartment comm. Is one of the most trashiest, run down and M is - managed I've ever had the misfortune to live at. The management company is out for all the $$$ they can get out of residents while putting as little money into the up keep of the apartments and community as possible. The people in the office are awful and so disrespectful. Never will recommend it to anyone, unless you like living in a rodent infested, bug infested apartment with no heat in winter and no a/c in summer. The plus is that Kentwood Police are close so when there are shootings from your neighbors they tend

Then to top it off they will enter your apartment .Every 30-45 day LIKE CLOCK work for what ever excuse they can come up with to enter wen your NOT there. To top it of they get A cash kick back from Image towing company . So they will also be towing your car $250. And too top it off the place and Management/Maintenance crew are

Awesome management and great maintenance staff. If there was a neighbor that bothered you, just call management they'll deal with them right away.
Although the buildings are old and need to be maintained, it was a clean, quiet, and affordable place to rent.
I would rent from them again if I am in the GR area.
