Mortgage interest on mortgage loans up to $750,000 can be deducted on primary and second homes. This dropped from $1,000,000 but it's not as bad as the first round (eliminating the deduction entirely) and at least you can get a lot of house with a $750,000 loan in Portland! Your home equity loan is no.

When we decided to sell our home of 30 years, Cary counseled us from the beginning and played a big role in helping us decide what to "fix up" and how to get the house in the best shape for a sale. Just after we entered the market, the Pandemic hit and we went through some very difficult times for real estate (and everything else!).
