The first "UltraSlide" board was built in the fall of 1992 in an off-campus apartment near Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, for use as a cross-trainer for cycling. About a year later, the men's tennis coach at Northwestern contacted us asking if we could make a board for the team. A couple days later, we received another inquiry from someone associated with university.

The UltraSlide has a very durable, solid base, so it is ideal for carpet. The UltraSlide can be used on almost any surface. However, using the board on a dusty, cement surface, may cause the rubber pads on the base to lose their grip.

Super-attentive customer service with American-made best-in-class craftmanship: what more could you ask for? The quality difference in Ultraslide is instantly apparent and I'm very happy I didn't settle for one of the many second-rate slideboards on Amazon. Barry is extremely helpful and makes you know you're in good hands. Ultraslide is ultra-solid.

American engineering at its finest! I recently purchased the home version of the 8' adjustable ultraslide for personal and professional purposes. It is by far the closest thing to being on ice of any of the slide boards I have tried in the last 20 years. It comes with all necessary items, even the cleaning spray. It is very sturdy and does not move on carpet, even when aggressively trying to make that happen! Customer service is a dream, and I am so pleased to have such a high quality product for my personal training clients to use...when I am not using it.
