The Vetting Zoo is a 3,000 square foot full-service animal hospital located in the Palmyra/Campbelltown area. We are dedicated to providing the best possible patient care at a reasonable cost, educating clients with the most recent research and findings, as well as giving back to the community through animal advocacy and rescue programs.
The services and facilities of The Vetting Zoo LLC are designed to administer preventive care, detect and treat sickness and disease and provide surgical needs from basic spaying and neutering to orthopedics. What sets The Vetting Zoo apart from other hospitals in the area is that we routinely provide house calls for preventive care, treatment of sickness and disease as well as in-home euthanasia services.

Services
There are many challenges in caring for an animal that cannot be moved from their location for one reason or another. Please let us know of any specific requests or conditions that will require special attention. We promise to communicate with you throughout the process to make sure it goes smoothly for you and your animal.
If you are looking for mouse and keyboard alternatives, speech recognition software such as Dragon Naturally Speaking may help you navigate web pages and online services. This software allows the user to move focus around a web page or application screen through voice controls. If the recommendations above do not meet your needs, we invite you to contact us for assistance.
We are going to collect money. Many shelters do not have space to store "stuff" (food, crates, bins, bowls, etc)-Nor do we want to use precious funds for shipping. So, we are asking for flat donations. Every dollar donated will get to animals in need in the Texas area. A veterinarian friend of Dr Diane's is heading to the Houston area on Thursday-he is going to be in touch with her, and will let us know where funds are needed.

Great service. They have a very friendly staff. Right now with the way things are it is hard trying to find a vet taking new clients. So glad I found the vetting zoo that does shots at a low price. They do it once a month. It can be for cats or dogs which is great because I have both so it worked out well for me. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

This is a great place. The staff is friendly and always calls back quickly! They have a wait-list in case an appointment gets canceled so there is always a chance for a sooner appointment. They also always take the best care of my cats and during car side were very willing to answer all of my questions when I couldn't physically be in the exam room. Even when they had to refer me to a specialist vet, they first tried everything they could there for a reasonable price. I am always very happy with the service there!

If you never heard any bad remarks about The Vetting Zoo....
Its because there's nothing bad to say!!!
Dr. Diane is my primary veterinarian.
Her and her staff are PHENOMENAL!!!
You can ask them ANYTHING that concerns you about your pet and they treat you AND your pet as though they are FAMILY!!
They'll tell you prices before they do anything,
And they take the cheapest way possible for the care of your pets.
I was leary for YEARS about vets because I've heard horror stories and I didn't want my fur babies hurt or worse.
Let me tell ya somethin...

Unbelievably rude clerical staff does NOT care about your pet! After 5 years of taking my dog there I was basically given the boot by the very hostile girls at the front desk for not confirming my appointment?! Seriously? They claimed they had called me “several times” to confirm and I “failed” to return their call and confirm in a timely manner so my appointment was canceled and immediately given to someone else. So In the actual version of events, they called a total of 3 times, Thursday morning while I was working, Friday morning while I was working and then again Friday evening at 6pm

We recently had to make an incredibly difficult decision to put our cat Grayson to sleep. Dr Diane and the entire staff were extremely wonderful and made what was a VERY hard time as comfortable and as easy as possible. So compassionate and caring! We also appreciate the aftercare and follow up. Those small details meant a lot to us and we felt as if our loved boy was in good hands!

PLEASE READ FULL REVIEW IF CONSIDERING THE VETTING ZOO. TOO BUSY TO CALL BACK REGARDING MY SICK DOG BUT NOT TOO BUSY TO SEND A LETTER "TERMINATING THE CLIENT-PATIENT RELATIONSHIP" AFTER I WROTE AN AVERAGE BUT ACCURATE REVIEW.
I've usually been super happy with my experiences at The Vetting Zoo. Their fees and costs seem much lower than what I've paid elsewhere, the late hours are really convenient and you can usually get in pretty quickly. They also do soooo for the community which is how I originally heard of Dr. Diane when she was doing strictly mobile visits, which were

So I call yesterday for an appointment and I asked for directions for my visit tomorrow, I arrive 10 minutes late because I was given incorrect directions to there location now they want to charge me a $25.00 late fee the girl even admitted she gave me wrong directions What the heck said it is there policy to charge a late fee I think this is absurd especially at this time with people being out of work and all due to the virus,

I love the atmosphere of a small town veterinary office that know you and your pet by name and loves your dog as much as you do... Great staff, best veterinarians around and always pleased with outcome and explanations of what was done. BONUS... my dog is not scared when she goes to see Dr. Diane as in previous offices... so that speaks for itself!

After calling around for almost 2 days, we finally found a place that would help us and see our babies cause they were sick and wouldnt eat or drink and kept throwing up with diarrhea. They were getting skinnier and weaker shortly after we arrived and Diane came and seen them we discovered they had Parvo. Well here we are devastated cause we just came up with enough money for them to be seen due to everything going on with us just moving etc. We are completely broke, crying, scared and worried for our babies and they are only getting worse. Diane helped us and treated them busy saving their lives

The front office staff are honest ,friendly, compassionate this starts walking in the door to receptionist, and or office managers , they actually speak to the pet first and than parent. This is exceptional. The front office staff show knowledgeability "not just guessing what your saying or writing on paper than crossing out because they do not understand" I experienced this at another vet. Never again! You are called back to a relaxed room by a vet tech, not ushered by front desk and sitting cold empty room as your pet shakes. When you call The vetting zoo they listen, not rushing you

We bring our two dogs to the Vetting Zoo. We travel from Harrisburg to Campbelltown because it is worth the trip. There is exceptional quality of care. The staff provides superior service. Dr. Ford also provides an unbelievable amount of low cost clinics and help to shelters. Best vet, bar none. When my last dog was terminally ill, she helped us have a plan for when the time came. When he passed, we all received such compassion. Because of the quality of care and respect for staff and other customers, it is important to arrive on time. I'm so very thankful for Dr. Ford and her staff.

You will not find a more caring vet than Diane Ford. She treats every animal like her own. She stays current with new medicine and treatments in the animal world. She is constantly doing spay and neutering clinics. I know I can count on her when I call for advice. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else.
