Terrible place to live for many reasons - appartments are completely out dated , the AC/heat is a unit and costs an insane amount to actually make any difference in the apartment. We received multiple noise complaints (5) within a 6 month period each complaint was never justified and they never could give us an exact reason for the complaint as if they were just looking for a reason to evict us. Jenny is extremely rude and very hard to work with. We received “sorry” letters on our door from other neighbors apologizing for being loud after receiving noise complaints. Prentice park is like a home for us for last 4 years. One of the reason for us to stay here, it is conveniently located on a Madison bus route yet quite peaceful. The apartments are spacious, well maintained. One advantage of Prentice park is it has all private entrances, so you hardly hear door bangs and unnecessary smells which is very common in apartments with common lobby. The Maintenance team is quick and get issues addressed quickly. The staff is very co-operative and provides all information and help required. Thank you.

I have lived in Prentice Park for 4 years - I really like the location of these apartments as it is right on bus line, very close to malls and shops around and very peaceful and no nuisance place.
However I am restricting to 3 star as apartments are a bit old.. though nicely maintained.
One qualm that I do have is when I left the apartment, they didn't consider the depreciation over 4 years and deducted considerable amount of my security deposit. However apart from that I really liked my stay there and would have continued if circumstances were favorable.

I've lived here for 2.5 years and have really enjoyed it! The only reason I am moving is because I now work on the westside and the commute is too far. Jenni has always been really great to us and helpful! They give us ample notice for changes around the apartment. For example, we received new mailboxes and they let us know and gave us the new keys before they were even installed! The maintenance is also great and quick to fix what you need. We've had a couple things that needed to be replaced and we always got them fixed within a week of calling, sometimes they would come the same day! They were

My boyfriend and I lived here for a year and just recently moved out. It wasn't the safest place to live (police seemed to be around the building next to us quite often) and management was always pretty rude, but it was a great place to live for cheap. I would leave a better review if it wasn't for having carpet that smelled like cat urine and getting charged for two hours of cleaning that didn't even need to be done.
The carpet in our master bedroom and at the top of the stairs smelled like urine when we moved in (we don't have any pets) and the only thing they would do to about it was shampoo

I lived at Prentice Park for two years with roommates. Overall, the apartment complex is just OK. It's overall a quiet place, and we never had issues with our neighbors. However, there are a number of things to keep in mind.
1. The appliances are OLD, and they won't get updated even if you make a request. Our dryer never got everything dry on the first run, so we were constantly running the old, inefficient dryer lots of times for laundry. We would ask for it to be looked at, and I don't think they ever did more than check the duct work. Our stove also had a bent coil that was never addressed

For anyone looking into Prentice Park, my first word of advice is to keep in mind that most people who write these reviews had a bad experience. Yet for the vast majority of tenants in Prentice Park, we have nothing but positive things to say.
First of all, the neighborhood is great. I have experienced a very peaceful and relaxed home for the last two years. My neighbors are polite and courteous and I have only witnessed a couple of arguments over the last two years. The grounds are up-kept well and repairs are done promptly.

I have had nothing but good things to say about Prentice Park. The apartments themselves could use updating to be a bit more modern. Overall though, it's been great. The grounds always look fabulous and they always keep up on keeping it looking nice. I would highly recommend this place to any who wants a clean, nice looking and big apartment, that is VERY pet friendly.
