Dr. Erin Lee, DACM is the founding clinic director of Work In Progress Acupuncture Studio. She specializes in neurofunctional acupuncture for the treatment of musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction, incorporating the release of active trigger and motor points. She also specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, stress and sleep disorders.
We specialize in neurofunctional acupuncture for the treatment of musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction, essentially using our knowledge of nerves and muscles to neuromodulate the perception of pain in the Central Nervous System and incorporating the release of active trigger and motor points.

Therapeutic goals include decreasing nociceptive signaling to the brain in order to reduce pain, profusion of oxygen and blood to the affected site, improvement of motor function and range of motion, the reduction of inflammation, the promotion of tissue healing and the stimulation of cartilage production.Commonly treated conditions include PCOS, endometriosis, PMS, menopause, dysmenorrhea, irregular menstruation and infertility.
Acupuncture is one of the oldest medical treatment therapies in history. The earliest recorded manuscripts and evidence of acupuncture meridians originated in China and dates back to more than 2,500 years ago. However, it is believed to have been practiced for more than 4,000 years.

An acupuncturist will select from over 360 acupuncture points along meridian systems within your body, effectively redirecting the flow of Qi to support organ systems, remove blockages and restore harmony. With so many points to choose from, no two acupuncturists will select the same points to address the same symptoms or disease - and no two individuals with the same symptoms or disease will have the same exact internal conditions.
A powerful and effective solution for both acute and chronic conditions, herbal medicine has been used for thousands of years to treat symptoms and correct imbalances within the body. According to a Traditional Chinese medical text known as the "Materia Medica, " there are thousands of herbs and minerals used and categorized according to function, nature, temperature, taste and organ systems entered.

Dr. Lee is amazing. She is a good listener and a highly skilled medical sleuth! When I first saw her I had debilitating back/hip pain which she zeroed in on and within 6 weeks I was pain free. She's my go-to acupuncturist should any need occur in the future.

I love coming to see Dr. Lee! She’s so friendly and knowledgeable in all aspects of health. She gets to know each of her patients to maximize specific results. My favorite is the acupuncture with stim, and cupping therapy. It’s as good as a deep tissue massage. I would strongly recommend her to anyone who has acupuncture needs!

Dr. Erin Lee is awesome. Had acupuncture in the past but Dr. Lee takes it to another level. She asked questions about my health and carefully assessed my needs and explained/educated me on the underlying reasons for each procedure performed. She has a full array of tools from acupuncture, cupping and sound/vibration therapy. i pulled a hamstring and she helped me recover relatively quickly. Her facilities are in a clean and professional medical office. Highly recommend her practice!

My experience with Dr Lee has been wonderful- I leave her office feeling brand new. In addition to acupuncture, Dr Lee performs cupping, sound therapy and other Chinese medicine therapies based on my needs of the given day. I have noticed improvement in my various medical conditions, from the treatments she offers as well as the tangible tools/tips that she provides for me to use at home. So kind and knowledgeable!

Went to Dr. Lee for chronic low back pain I've been suffering for years. Dr. Lee is kind, empathetic and will take in all your information and prioritize what needs to be addressed first. Her approach eventually solved many other problems I've had with sleep and anxiety. I highly recommend seeing dr. Lee !

Dr. Lee is a very attentive acupuncturist who takes the time to listen to all of my concerns and adjusts her treatment accordingly. Dr. Lee worked on my back and my arms/hands to increase blood flow and the movement of energy in my body in order to reduce pains in those areas. Dr. Lee's caring attitude really shows through her interactions with her patients and she is very good at what she does and I have experienced notably reduced pain through working with her. I will definitely be keeping up my treatments with her! Thanks Dr. Lee!

Dr. Lee is great. I wasn't sure if acupuncture was going to help my knee pain, but it has definitely done so. The experience hasn't been what I'd expected -- I'd had other acupuncture sessions that were less clinical, and less effective. Dr. Lee's knows what she's doing, she very perceptive, and careful and methodical about her work. She's also reassuring and helpful in getting you to describe what's wrong so she can treat it well; in other words, everything I want in a doctor.

My session with Dr. Lee was magical! She’s so intuitive and thorough which made me feel completely at ease. I’m a very active person as both a personal trainer and an athlete so my body has been pushed to its limits lately. That cupping session brought me so much relief. I plan to seeing her for acupuncture and more cupping on a regular basis as I strive to make recovery a higher priority. I 100% recommend that you pay her a visit, especially if your body has experienced some wear and tear like mine!

I just had the most wonderful experience with Dr. Lee. I'm new to acupuncture, but she made me feel at ease and comfortable. The unique combination of acupuncture, cupping, massage, aromatherapy and sound therapy was innovative and powerful. I don't remember ever feeling this relaxed, connected and in flow. I couldn't recommend her higher and I look forward to working with her into the future.

I went to see Dr. Erin Lee about my migraines. After a sit-down going through my medical history, she really took the time to understand my health issues. Then I swear when she placed some of the needles in my leg, I felt a tiny jolt or tingle like those pathways led right to my problem areas. Her knowledge of the body and pressure points is amazing!
I always have these tender/sore spots behind my ears down the sides of my neck, and when it gets too tense it leads to a migraine. After just my first treatment, I was feeling/prodding my neck and exclaimed in disbelief, "I have no pain! My

I've been going to this practice for a few months now and have tried two of the practitioners here, Lucinda and Dr. Lee and they both have a great gentle touch. We've been working on my digestive issues and allergies and both have improved immensely. I love that they do so many different things in one session like the acupuncture, cupping, massage and tuning forks, and they also had me doing herbs at home in between sessions. You can tell they really care about their patients and even spend extra time to make sure you get the care you need. I never feel rushed and always walk out feeling
