Your car's heating and A/C should be checked seasonally to keep your automobile comfortable in any weather condition. Air filter replacement is an important part of regular vehicle maintenance and should be replaced about every 3,000 to 15,000 miles. Your car's battery should be examined and maintained to guarantee the performance of your automobile's electrical system.
Once completed, we will contact you within one business day to confirm your appointment time. Based on your tire size, this tire may not be a good selection for your vehicle. You may add these tires to your scheduled appointment after we have contacted you regarding your quote. Friendly staff, "Mike" was my service manager. Friendly, knowledgeable, did not push for additional repairs. They checked what I suspected was an issue
They checked and confirmed it. I missed the shocks leaking oil, so I got those replaced. We are taking a long car trip, so we wanted a safe car.

Overall not the best experience. I had to have my car towed here because the plastic panel covering my front left wheel well broke off (I own a Ford) and fell on my tire popping it. They replaced the plastic panel and I was recommended 2 new front tires and an alignment for $630. I was also told that they had found some parts cracking somewhere between one if the front struts and the tire as well as a slight leak of steering fluid in my steering column boot and my oil pan totaling $800+ on top of the $630. However they said the car would be alright without replacing the cracking parts yet it would

I brought my car in this morning because I thought I had a slow leak in my front tire.
I had no appointment, but never the less the owner,Ben Brooks, was accommodating and SO friendly. When I went to pick up my car, he told me there would be no charge because the tire was just fine. I was so darn appreciative and insisted on paying him for his time, he refused with a smile and sent me on my way.
I didn't know impeccable customer service like this even existed in the 21st century! I can't RAVE enough about the friendliness, thoroughness, professionalism

Used to come here every 3 months for 4 years. amazing people. in the last 8 months. new management has taken over and service is horrible. mike hung up on me because I questioned why he was tacking on an extra $130.00 charge to my repair. last 2 times I was here in 2020 was sad to see they lose paperwork to repairs and they are all yelling across office blaming each other for the paperwork. very unprofessional and rude! beware. question every repair cost.

Had an alternator put in car but the idling was rough. Then these boys thought the car needed a new computer so the car was taken to an electronic place where my car sat and sat. Finally got the car back and while driving the car over heated. Towed the car back to this place and was told the engine was bad. Took my car to ANOTHER place and was told I needed a new thermostat. Car is RUNNING GREAT!

Called them for a quote on a 4-wheel alignment and was surprised how competitive they were there on pricing after calling a few local places. Dropped it off and they were done a couple hours later. All 3 people I dealt with were super friendly and I can tell they value customer relationships, which for me made a great first impression. Glad I found a place like this and will be back for all my car needs.

I have been a customer 10+ years, and they are always professional and do an amazing job. As a single woman, I feel comfortable in an arena that I do not know anything about. Pricing and service is always fair. I have never felt like I was getting screwed over. They are friendly and have good customer service. I use the drop off service the night before and my car is done in a very timely manner. Additionally, I get timely coupons that help save me money.

I feel taken advantage of, sadly. I came in for a weird noise and was told I needed new calipers and some other things, for a total of around $800. I decided to get a second opinion from a different mechanic, and he tole me all I needed was new brake pads for around $145. That's quite a disparity. Coastline has always been very nice and has done great work for me in the past, but now I'm questioning if all that work they convinced me I needed was actually necessary. My advice, do your research after they give you a quote.

I've taken my car here three times now and today was the last. This place had a good rating on yelp, looked like they were busy and the location was convenient. Today I walked away feeling completely ripped off and taken advantage of. First time I took my car in, they ran the diagnostic and convinced me to pay for a ton of extra work that was way overpriced and probably unnecessary. The second time I brought my car in because it had been trouble starting up for a while and I wanted it to be checked out. My husband and I needed a place to have repairs and oil changes done. We didnt have a regular place to go but after visiting Coastline Auto Repair we do. From the minute you drive in to when you pick your vehicle up they are attentive. The waiting room is clean,the bays where the vehicles are are well kept, and the personal are great. Alot of the personal have worked there over 15 years. The prices are good too. Give them a try. I dont think you will be disappointed.

Friendly and funny staff. They also have complimentary water and candy for visitors. There is a waiting area with a TV should you choose to wait for your car to be serviced. Make sure to get on their mailing list, so you can receive their postcard that has discounts on them. Although some car repairs or services can expectedly be costly, we have found them to be honest. We live in Long Beach, but travel to Los Alamitos for their business.

So I bought my tires from coastline five years ago. I got the not-so-cheap tires with many miles on the warranty, including road hazard. I still have 15,000 miles to go on the warranty.
I had a nail in my tire; so I came to get it fixed and also to get the tires rotated.
1. they had no record of my tire transaction even though I had my receipt.
2. worker wanted me to leave the car until the next day because they were too busy. (I got there at 2:15)
3. he would not tell me whether or not he would rotate my tires for free, since they couldn't find the transaction in the computer, even

Came here couple of times in the last year to get oil changes after purchasing a punchcard online. Ben has been taking care of my car ever since, he is nice, friendly and honest. He had brought to my attention several maintenance items and even after I told him I'm going to delay these maintenance for a later time he was still nice to me.
I normally call in a Vance to get an appointment and the guys here are efficient and on time. It normally takes about an hour to do my oriole change and they're very good at being able to clear the maintenance light for me.
