Professional property management encompasses all aspects of running a rental property, from finding and screening Tenants to maintaining the property, collecting rent, and handling any issues that arise.

These were our property managers for over 10 years and they are wonderful with acting on behalf of our interests as property owners. When we made the difficult decision to sell the house, they made it very easy to get the house ready, listed and sold without us having to make any trips to Michigan from North Carolina. We always felt comfortable with any recommendations they made for repairs or updates and if we ever had another property in the area to rent, they would be our first choice to manage it!

I have used several property management companies and Service Specialties is not the worst but they are not the best by far. They have a decent amount of turnover and you have to start over with new property managers. They do need to work on customer service for some of their property managers and phone skills of their receptionists. You have to keep up on what they charge you as sometimes you are paying for emergency service visits on known problems. When you use a property management company - you are paying for a service and it would have been nice to just let them manage and not have any worries

The worst landlords ever!!! Will not do any repairs. They classify almost everything as a minor repair which is the responsibility of the tenants per the lease agreement. Then if a repair is needed that they can't manage to classify as minor they state it's up to the property owner to make the repair and of course the owners decides not to make the repair!
When you move out they overcharge you for every little thing. For example they charged me $100 to clean the stove. The stove was used when I moved in and I lived there for over 2 years and we left it in good condition. They will

This company is the worse when it comes to fixing things in a home. I have been renting from them for over a year now. My windows have been broke since before I moved in. I was promised that they would be fixed. I had to put tape on the windows were they are cracked to stop the cold air from coming in. The boiler that is in the home sucks and doesn't work like it's suppose to. I bought a space heater to try and keep my daughter and I warm in the winter, well with plastic on my windows and a space heater, plus the boiler, we still froze. I have called over and over. I am a single mom

Rented with this company for three years, paid my rent on time. When I moved out, this company decided to over charge me for yard work aka Landscaping. This company had no intent on giving me back any of my security deposit. Now we're headed to small claims court. If you decide to rent from this company make sure you take plenty of pictures before you move in and before you move out. Don't lose your contract. Like I said, they have no intent on giving you your security deposit. Good luck.
