One of Raleigh's top TMJ/facial pain dentists, proudly serving patients in North Carolina and the surrounding states. Dr. Tracy was born in Greenville, NC. She attended East Carolina University where she graduated with a BS in Biology in 1996. She entered UNC School of Dentistry immediately following undergrad, and graduated in 2000 with her Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
Within the first 2 weeks I could already tell the relaxation I could feel in my jaw and face and how I would not wake up with headaches. It was amazing. it was like a magic potion for me. Dr. Tracy is very patient and very professional but yet makes you feel like she's your sister or acquaintance you've known for along time.
Carolina TMJ and Facial Pain Center understands the importance of relaxed muscles. We have a highly trained Therapeutic Massage Therapist in-office to help relax your achy, tired muscles. We incorporate therapeutic massage for our Craniofacial Pain and TMJ Pain patients, but we also offer our massage services to Non-Pain Customers.
TMJ is what most patients call problems of their jaw joints; however, TMJ actually refers to the temporomandibular joint itself. Temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMD) is the dysfunction of this joint and the surrounding muscles. These joints attach your jawbone to your skull, which is why TMJ pain can spread to your face, neck, and shoulders.
Dr. Davidian's process for treating patients that suffer from TMD is quite different than other general dentist offices. We will refer you to an Orthodontist that specializes in Neuromuscular Ortho; however, Dr. Davidian is the person that finds the position the orthodontist will place your teeth in.

Lifesavers! Dr. Davidian and her staff our absolutely wonderful. I began suffering terrible headaches and migraines and eventually my whole face began to hurt and it went on for months and could not figure out why even after visiting a neurologist and getting a MRI. Someone suggested it could be TMJ related and I was willing to try anything and so glad I found this place. Dr. D was able to quickly identify the root cause and pinpoint all the areas causing pain and was able to start giving me immediate relief. After dealing with TMD for years and going through everything from mouth guards, botox, cortisone injections, to a double arthroplasty, I was still having TMJ problems that oral surgeons and other doctors just didn't know how to deal with. Dr. Davidian was the first, out of a long line of TMJ providers, to actually listen to and empathize with all of my symptoms. I’ve been suffering from TMJ for about 5 years and I’ve been to three other Speciality TMJ Dentists and two Orthodontists in Raleigh for treatment of my clenching and grinding, but Dr. Davidian is by far the best! Why did I waste so much money on other treatments when I should have gone straight to Carolina TMJ instead?!?!

Dr. Davidian is a quality-of-life saver! She is the ONLY TMJ Specialist who had immediate understanding of my complex problems and a plan for a solution! She was the 8th TMJ specialist I visited (in NY and NC) in seven years because I refused to believe I couldn't be helped.

Dr. Davidian is a very skilled and caring doctor. I was in severe pain for many years and other doctors were unable to help me. Dr. Davidian has the most cutting edge assessment tools and software.
